  1. Since when? Happens all the time and law-abiding homeowners who are protecting themselves from scumbags don't go to jail.

If it happens all the time I'd like to see a link to a story. Because I find it hard to believe if someone was TPing my house and I walked outside and shot the kid in the head, I'd get a pat on the back from the cops.

To use deadly force to protect yourself, your family, or another person, there has to be a reasonable threat to said life. A roll of toilet paper hardly applies in this situation

  2. No, I would say that to your face. Taking vandalism as a juvenile prank that should be laughed off is idiotic. Especially when it's targeted at guys who have to worry about nut cases being violent. Toilet papering may just be the first step.

    Yeah...toilet papering is a gateway crime...give me a break

  3. Not following...going to the Giants, especially considering I live in the NYC region. Good fans, good family ownership. Not crazy about the ticket prices, but I can live with that, I suppose.

Fact is, Im already warming to the Giants and plan to watch them alot this year. Call me nuts...something about watching a COMPETENT CONTENDING football team for a change that appeals to me.

You'll have to further explain this "COMPETENT" and "CONTENDING" thing to me as I do not know what those are...I'm a Bills fan

  4. So, I'm a Bills fan and my bro is a Lions fan(we can really pick 'em huh) and I spent yesterday with him at the bar watching the Lions-Saints. Just my objective view...The Saints are better than the Pats IMO and the Lions did hold their own for a little bit against them and even scored a fair amount of points.

Now, if the Pats roll on the Bills to the tune of say 35-0 or 42 -3....Lions are better than the Bills.

  5. NFL OT is fine. If you don't win the coin toss then your defense better be good enough to stop the offense and get the ball back. On the flip side, If you win the coin toss your offense better be good enough to overcome the opposing defense.

I've seen plenty of overtimes when teams go back and forth on offense and defense...I've also seen my share of ties. The rule is only a bad one if your team loses...Stop whining and grow a pair.

  6. I have been a member for some years...a reader for longer than that, but I have seen the usual influx of idiots the past two months or so, spewing the same tired hate they always have. That being said, the events of the the past week have me, the eternal optimist, just a bit worried as well... :pirate:

I am also a Bills optimist...Been a fan since '88. But I have never seen the kinda moves the Bills are making. It reeks of pure desperation. Can't wait to see how it all plays out though
