I don't think they want to see him fail...they want to prove themselves right (that he was a reach and a mistake). Proving oneself correct is more important to a lot of people than just having an adult, intellectual conversation in which both parties can make points without either having to "win."
Well said eball.

As always, Astrobot, your threads are the highlights of TBD during camp. Thank you.
Yes - Yes - Yes

Wonder if he is collecting two salaries.

Like this post. A voice of reason.

Did he play for the Patriots?

Anyone remember a player who suffered a serious or career ending injury while playing in the Pro Bowl? I seem to remember a very good running back that was injured playing beach volleyball during pro bowl week which ended his career.

Or if Thad does well do we keep 3 QB's on the active roster?

The most incredible photos ever. Makes you feel part of the tailgating festivities and game action. You're a real pro Mike. Thanks for sharing.

Nice post OP rational and I agree - when having a face-to face conversation. There is entertainment value to many of the posts on this board. I think it wise to take it that way. I find myself at times laughing at some of the opinions. Example - lets trade EJ and Spiller - priceless!

Great post Matter. Really makes you think. Thanks

Marvin's taken a lot of chances on "character. They all have not worked out. I think the Bengals led the league in jail time in the past.

I remember him as a television sports anchor. He had a charismatic smile and a hardy infectious laugh. I remember drinking at Sestak and McGuires in Kensington but didn't get a chance to visit Warlick's. R.I.P. to a good man.

Thanks for the research. Good point.

Just "lead the charge" baby

Classic correlation/causation fallacy. We didn't need to throw cause we weren't down 3 TD's this game. Obviously, games where our defense is getting blown up, we're going to need to throw more to catch up. How people don't understand that is beyond me.
Great point - classic failure by posters to agree with reality.

Worth an interview at least?? What could it hurt??

Bills fan since the beginning - born in Tonawanda. In elementry school I remember they showed a film of the entire first Bills game ever. Richie Lucas - Buster Ramsey et al.
I like Mr Wilson, and Coach Jauron - I'm a big supporter. Today was the worst Bills performance I can ever remember. For the first time I'm admitting that something needs to change. Poor coach - he looks beleagured - nothing has worked and it has to be affecting him. Need players!!!!!

Yeah, our special teams has cost us 2 games - Roscoe has been TERRIBLE.
oh yeah and many many many others

So...... Who takes over the rest of the season if we are Dick-less?
Herm Edwards

You seem content to place this issue into a nice tidy box with a bow. You are comparing DJ to Parcells one of the best coaches of all time. How about Tony Dungy, a very good coach also. He seems to have the same characteristics as DJ. A quit and confident coach. TD had a little over 500 win/loss record until the Payton Manning days. It's not always the coach. In your theory Marv Levy should not have been coach with Bills during the glory days because he previously could not win. Funny how your stock goes up as a coach when you have players. And speaking of the glory years that was a team that played with attitude and confidence.
meant quiet not quit sorry typo

Yes I played sports growing up and in college. I also know that teams take on the demeanor of their coach more often in football than in any other sport. That's all you need to know about the Bills to know they will consistently lose games that are virtually impossible to lose every year until he is gone...
Funny I never seem to remember this sort of thing happening to a Parcells coached team, let alone happening virtually every time they are in this situation...the situation is too big for Jauron to handle...that is the ultimate issue...
