  2. While the guy hits the nail on the head for several things this part is just idiotic;

    Rookie FS Jairus Byrd wasn’t quite as dynamic as his numbers would indicate – a few of his league-leading nine interceptions were gimme picks – but showed promising range.

    A player doesn't rack up 9 int's in 11 starts by being lucky. Byrd put himself in a position to be at the right place at the right time. His field awareness is what led to 9 int's. His first 5 could possibly be argued as being lucky but after making 3 picks against the Jets in his fourth start teams were trying to avoid him. JMO

    The other thing I disagree with;

    TE should be given another chance as a starter. I think his years under Jauron were not as much his fault as it was a very poor offensive coaching staff and nobody being able to protect him. It destroyed his confidence and if Gailey can rebuild that he has a chance of becoming a solid starter. JMO

    :)

    Some people are dum!!!!!!!! They obviously must be putting him behind all the other pro bowlers we had !! OOHH wait we didn't have any!! BYRDMANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!! :thumbsup:

  3. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/dexter-davis?id=496774

    Davis is a projection from defensive end to the outside backer position. All indications are that he would fit well in a 3-4 defensive scheme utilizing his pass rush ability most often. Davis has a powerful initial jolt and uses his hands well to control and leverage defenders. He can be stout verse the run as well as showing versatility pressuring the quarterback off the edge.

    Davis really has the look of a 3-4 outside linebacker. Is a good combination of size, strength and toughness necessary to jolt blockers and hold up at the point of attack. Possesses impressive pass rush ability because of his power and good get-off. Displays nice hand use against the run and pass. Intelligent player with a ton of starting experience.

    Now, being an ASU fan and having the "Sports Package" on Time Warner, I watched every Sun Devils game this year on the Pac-10 Network. I also have family (2 cousins) that live in Tempe and attend every home game. My (male) cousin works at ASU too...So, needless to say, I have some decent knowledge of Davis and I think this kid is the next Elvis Dumervil. I would love for the Bills to scoop him up in the 3rd or 4th round to play OLB in our new 3-4 scheme.

    Anybody else have any thoughts, comments or opinions on Dexter Davis?

    Stay in riverside buddies from buffalo live in scottsdale went to asu usc game this year he's a beastie!

  4. Berry is going to be so much better than Mays that it's not even funny. He already is, actually. Mays is not a playmaker at all, is poor in coverage, lacks football smarts and he's a terrible open-field tackler. He'll be lucky to amount to anything, whereas Berry ought to be a star in the NFL.

    Your an idiot from buffalo! I am from the kingdom of south buffalo I live in riverside ca, now and see every single usc game and they have the junior nfl of defenses research how many of pete caroll's players r in the league u may **** in your pants taylor mays can play free or strong in a 3-4 or 4-3 that forty time solidified him as a top twenty five pick! I would trade up in the first round if we could and have him and the byrd man im just sayin !

  5. Took a few minutes this afternoon to find some of the bigger name talent at offensive tackle who will be a free agent next year. The talent is out there for the taking, but it is going to cost some serious cash to lure some of these guys away from their current teams.

    LT Alex Barron St. Louis

    LT Jermon Bushrod New Orleans RFA

    LT Chad Clifton Green Bay

    LT Jared Gaither Baltimore RFA

    LT Mike Gandy Arizona

    LT Marcus McNeill San Diego

    LT Michael Roos Tennessee

    RT Cornell Green Oakland

    RT Stephon Heyer Washington

    RT Winston Justice Philadelphia

    RT Jeremy Trueblood Tampa Bay

    RT Eric Winston Houston

    RT Tyson Clabo Atlanta

    LT would be my primary focus this year as D.Bell still needs a lot of work and a math tutor to teach him to count past 1. My favorites in order are: Bushrod, Gaither, Clifton, Roos. The tough part here is that Bushrod are going to cost at least a 1st round pick and most likely a 1st and a 3rd.

    Take of winston justice he just signed and 18.5 million$ exstension :rolleyes:

  6. LA is the Dick Jauron of NFL cities...

    its a constant failure, yet somehow it continues to attract teams, always bringing hope that it will somehow, someway be better than before... as we see with Jauron, it never will...

    You don't know a thing about so cal or the people here, I attended high school at Bishop Timon and was all catholic in 2 sports and a bills season ticket holder for 9 years. Industry is in the middle of the Inland Empire and LA about a 30 min drive from either. The people here who are poor to middle class would be in the upper class in Buffalo (east amherst or hamburg) They have money and love the teams here dodgers angels ducks, they will get fans from both parts of so cal, but I wouldn't fret Jax is gonna go BKRUPT way b4 ralphie boy croaks!!!

  7. Sully is anti Buffalo and I am writing this from CA when I have 9 am comm class! Speaking of class sully and mark have none, u live in Buffalo and work at the Buffalo news Support the fact that a young team held the NFL Super Star if you watch NFL network team to a one point victory on opening day at there house. Blew up the Tampa Bay yucks!!!!!!! Trent delivered the ball where it should be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lee and TO dropped a TD each in that game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And was the first team in 22 %%#$#^%$^% games to hold Bressie under 200 yards. The defense quit when the Coach did, sully if you wanna throw someone under the bus start with Juaron himself!!!! :sick::sick: He was a poor hire to begin with, I count this as the 6th conceded defeat by tricy dick in his tenure. The same guy that has enough confidence in his punter to pass and not his qb !!!!!!!!!! By god we coulda used the beast in that situation and DJ has no excuse in that situation!!!!!! The point is this DJ is the reason for our competing teams to lose he is and will always be a 7-9 coach!@%^^$#$#%#%&$# DJ next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sick::thumbsup:
