Have seen it two times. Simply well done. Lived up to all the hype. Kind of a rule for myself. Have to see a Star Wars movie 3 times at a theatre. Planning on seeing it tomorrow.

I think you are judging by your hockey knowledge...
I said you guys are homers because you whine about everything the other team does, but fail to mention the dirty cheap shots from your own guys.
What was the response from the Sabres?
Chris Neil didn't play one shift after kneeing Eichel. Sabers didn't have a chance to send anyone after him.

Not expressing my opinion, but must admit I'd like to read what people for guns and people against guns have to say about all of this.

How about this one? Went down in North Tonawanda. Found it on youtube while looking for a video on what you posted.

According to an x-wing pilot, actor of course, and close friend of JJ Abrams, after reading the script for Episode VIII Abrams said he really wished he didn't pass on the opportunity to direct the next Star Wars movie. It would've been great, but I'm not worried at all about the next director. Rian Johnson directed one of the best tv episodes to ever grace the television. And that episode was Ozymandias - Breaking Bad. It's the one where Hank is killed off. The episode was very emotional, dramatic and well paced. W/ the script possibly being a what the heck was I thinking by JJ Abrams and a know how to deliver director, I'm pumped for Episode VIII.

Saw it a second time this afternoon. Enjoyed it even more. Ren and Rey are both going into training. Some serious stuff will be going down. It's quite obvious, in my opinion, Luke is Rey's father. The light saber being passed from Anakin to Luke to.... gives it away. The force seems stronger w/ her. When we find out who her father is, again its gotta be Luke, I hope it's not too dramatic. Just get it over w/ quick near the beginning of Episode 8. Can't try to be The Empire Strikes Back. Need complete originality in the next one.

I thought they took parts of all the original 3 movies into this one. I took my kids to see it because they wanted to and am not a huge fan but thought the movie was solid but nothing special (also haven't seen any of the prequels)
Are the prequels as good at the original trilogy and Episode VII? In the most part they are not. But if you're into Star Wars or at least have an interest in the saga, you may enjoy them. I still like watching the prequels w/ my kids. People tend to over analyze.

I do partly agree with this. I am not big into canning a coach after the first year but this was a big mistake hiring and it is brutally obvious. Whaley I don't know. He has done some good things, he also has done some things that are fireable offenses. Drafting EJ & then pushing him on not one but 2 coaching staffs, trading up for Watkins when we could of had Beckham if we just sat tight. I don't know tough call.
Beckham is a great receiver, but his ceiling, in my opinion, isn't as high as Watkins. Beckham has a talented qb to get him the ball. Also has an OC that wants him targeted quite often. Not bashing Taylor, but he's not Eli Manning. And Roman is a bust. Watkins would have better numbers than Beckham if he was a Giant and Beckahm was a Bill.

Anyone else at different points of the film feel as if they took parts of Episode IV and used them in Episode VII. I'm not going to cite anything for spoiler reasons, but there were quite a few things that were a bit too close to Episode IV. Now, let me stress that movie was fantastic. It's just a few scenes that bothered me.

The officiating consultant on-air last night said "once the whistle blows, it's a dead ball, and Rex can't be called for sideline interference". I think the refs gave NE the extra 15 yds because they screwed up the whistle. Just my opinion but I don't think the 15 yarder on Rex was the right call.
Agreed. Rex was well past the ref when the whistle was blown. He wasn't standing in front of him. Granted, he never should've walked in front of the ref, but why was the ref so far out of bounds? Not happy there was a 15 yard penalty, but would what would a Bills fan want? A 15 yard penalty or a Pats TD? If the whistle wasn't blown Pats get an easy 6.
-
If it's not broke don't fix it. Rex tried to fix the D' when he came in. It wasn't broke!

I don't understand how this defense can be so soft with the talent they have.
Play calling. Bills do not belong in a 3-4. It's as simple as that.
-
I'm not going to click on it either. Also there is a chance that it could all be false information.
J.J. Abrams does a remarkable job of keeping the lid on his projects.
Do not understand why people choose to read/listen to spoilers. What's the point of going to a movie if you already know what happens? Not knowing what it is going to happen is part of the experience. Watching a movie a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc... time is never the same as the 1st one.

Person familiar with talks tells AP that Dan Bylsma is having a second meeting with #Sabres as we speak.
Please, please, please involve a pen!

I see what you did there
really?
That is an aweful lot of money to spend, flying down, taking out to dinner, ect, just to hope someone jumps ahead of you in the second or third?
wow, the NFL makes way too much if that's the casw.
When you have Pegula as owner, money means nothing. Pegula and his wife flew on a private jet to Calgary to persuade Robyn Regehr to waive his no trade clause. Sending Whaley to build a smoke screen is possible.

Rather surprised no type of Sabres thread is on two bills drive. I understand this is football and not hockey, but Sabrespace does have a Bills thread going. It's a basic thread, but it enables people familiar w/ one another to discuss/debate the Bills.
If watching the Sabres right now, you'll see the difference between an NHL team and a "AHL" team. Buffalo is terrible. Roster put together is all for "McEichel," and I have high hopes the Sabres do not blow it. They have a 2 point "lead", which is next to nothing, but their remaining games are easier when compared to Arizona. That is something to be concerned about. We'll see what happens in the next week or so, but if the Sabres fall short of 30th in the league, the last 2 seasons will arguably have been a waste.
-
DUI? Idiot. Sure this won't have a significant, if any, impact on his draft, but to put others at risk is terrible.
-
Disband the team, all players enter a special draft with first pick going to a new franchise in LA. Realignment with Rams moving to AFC North, Ravens to East and new LA team in NFC west.
Also the Bruins should be banned from the NHL as a bonus punishment.
Too soft. NFL needs to be more agressive.
-
WHY??? The game has passed him by. No old and worn out retreads please.
Same was said about Dick Vermeil. He brought a Super Bowl title to St. Louis. Please don't use the he's too old argument for any coach the Bills are considering.

Brees to Saints = Kelly to Bills
Brees will not be going anywhere.

My grief is this statement from above.
You guys all act like if the bills hit wonders on all their #1 draft picks. If ALL of our #1 picks were hall of famers or even close to that, then I'd agree. But we picked up Aaron Maybin as a #1. C'mon now.
And to think that not having one #1 pick can set us back a decade, that's just ridiculous. A free agent could fit the bill just as a #1 pick and most likely even better. Look what super mario did. Get more of these superstars next year.
You beat me to it. My mistake.
Another complain that is getting annoying is that pegula is the richest man alive and he will buy a sb championship team.
"he's so rich." "he wont care"
"he's filthy rich" "he'll turn it around"
Sabres are freaking dead last in their division!!!!! HELLO. ITS NOT WORKING!!!!! He's had them since Feb 2011. Almost 4 years now!!!!
If anything Pegula sucks!
Are you a Sabres fan? If so you wouldn't have these thoughts. You'd know why they're in that position and you'd also know why the Sabres have the number one rated farm system. Success for the Sabres is very near and much of the same can be felt for the Bills. Same principles will be applied. What needs to be done will be done.
Star Wars Episode VIII - The Last Jedi thread
in Off the Wall Archives

The Last Jedi ruined the latest Star Wars trilogy. Force Awakens was a reboot of the franchise, but at least it raised questions people enjoyed theorizing about. What does the Last Jedi do? Practically throws everything out the window w/ next to no thought. I'm about to the point of thinking only Episodes 1 - 6 were made. Gotta say good luck to JJ Abrams when he attempts to right the ship in Episode 9. He's going to need it.
