Wow. That's inexcusable.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics This was the only thing I could find.I went to the NFL.com stats page, no mention of Mario anywhere as a sack leader. In fact, no mention of any bills, anywhere.
I guess we don't rate?

Maybin pick: GOD NO! PLEASE JUST NO
SPILLER: ARE YOU KIDDING ME! A RB! (*clemson highlights go on*)....well I think he'll add a dimension to our offense that could work out
Dareus: Alright, just what we needed.
GIlmore: UGH, i know we need one but....c'mon a corner?
This year: TBD

I've never made my own mock draft so I'm giving it a shot. I don't follow college very much, but I always research and watch high/low lights of the prospects after the season ends. Let me know what you think.
Round 1 Pick 8: Matt Barkley QB
Round 2 Pick 9: Robert Woods WR
Round 3 Pick 9: Tyrann Mathieu CB
Round 4 Pick 8: Justin Pugh OG
Round 5 Pick 10: Kyle Juszczyk FB
Round 6 Pick 9: Chris Gragg TE

I try not to damage the local property. I do, however, go through the 5 stages of grief.
1. Denial: No way did they just pick him. I must be drinking too much.
2. Anger: Are they kidding me? No one on earth but Buffalo would make that idiotic choice.
3. Bargaining: I'd honestly do anything to have a winning team. What is it going to take?
4. Depression: Forget it! It's not even worth it to support this team. We'll always be the laughing stock of the NFL.
5. Acceptance: You know? I think we'll be okay. This guy has a good looking highlight reel. He's a green-shirted freshener who led the GMC10 in yards lost per gained intersackdowns.
That being said...I guess I'd pick Cordarelle Patterson.

I hope we see the NFL lay the hammer down on Deadspin and the pranksters. Do you think the league will punish the Bills and Bucs? I can't see how they could, but you know Goodell.

Per Adam Schefter's Twitter. Possibly just speculation at this point, but it would eliminate yet another QB hungry team.

Look for Matt Cassel to be one of the quarterbacks on the Cardinals' radar. Cassel also will receive interest from other teams.

This thread just reminded me of this

Funniest one I've ever seen. I remember tears rolling down my face and needing a drink of water.

I think the Bills have a great opportunity with Kelly today. He has stated that he wants to make his decision "fast." The Bills are the first team in and they have previously indicated that they will pursue Kelly "hard."
Couple that with Russ Brandon's open commitment to analytics and there just might be a chance for a home run today.
If I was Russ I would tell Kelly 3 things - 1.) We want to be the standard bearer for analytic football and will give you wide range to establish it to your liking on the NFL level, 2.) We have the 8th pick in the draft and you can use that (either in keeping it or trading it) to get the QB you need to make your offense click and 3.) You have an opportunity here to knock NE and Belichick off of their decade + long perch and become a demigod to Buffalo fans.
Also, I am working under the assumption that there is a succession plan in place and Russ would intimate that to all of the coaching candidates, thus defusing any concerns about franchise instability.
Russ and Whaley need to take the lead here and play the youth card with Kelly. Keep Buddy in the background with his piehole zipped. If they can pull it off things could get really exciting around here really fast.
Get 'er done, Russ.

Both Bucky Gleason and Jerry Sullivan think (strongly) the Bills are meeting with Chip Kelly right now.

As per Arizona Cardinal's Linebacker, Quentin Groves. Random indeed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Andy Levitre a couple years ago in New York City. I bought him a couple shots and told him I was a fan of him and the team. The one thing that stood out to me was his close friendship with Eric Wood. He actually used the phrase "He's like my best friend." (The topic of Eric Wood came up when a girl I was seeing at the time told Levitre that Wood "looks like a big man cherub" ; Levitre cracked up). The point is, this might hold some weight during negotiations. Offensive lines tend to have greater comradery than any other unit on a team. The only one I'm concerned about is Byrd. Who knows how that's going to play out.
