I'm on board with this
I'm rolling with him in the final (stupid week 17 final!) of one of my fantasy leagues over Rivers. I gotta believe something good is going to happen here.

Personally, I think something like ANY/A from Profootball reference is a better indicator of production. Just measuring total yards doesn't really tell you everything, since two equally talented QBs could be ranked different depending on play calling.
ANY/A rankings have Tyrod at 9th and 19th, averaging out to just about average. Which, the eye test tells me lines up. This year is down, imo, partially due to missing WRs for multiple games, especially deep threats.
Do I think Tyrod is a guy who can carry a bad defense? No. Do I think he is a guy that can win with an average to good defense? Yes.
We have talent on the defensive side (at least I think so). If our new DC can convince the FO that the defense will improve, I could see Tyrod coming back.
I am on board 100% with this philosophy. Look at the available options. Could Tyrod have us in the playoffs had our defense been pass-able this season? Absolutely. The O scored a lot of points and he, despite his passing numbers, was a big part of that. The Bills lost when he had to try and come back from deficits every week and he is just not the Stafford/Ryan/Rodgers kinda QB that can pass a squad back into the game, but let's not pretend that he didn't have the O moving the chains in a lot of games with his legs. He's a unique proposition. Not the answer, but not the true question on this team. That lies 100% on the defense.

Russ doesnt need to leave at all....he is good at his promotion job...what needs to happen is he needs to be given the food order every time actual football stuff is discussed and decided.
Whaley should be retained....and he should be allowed to pick HIS head coach.....just try it bills...and see how it works out.
Rex as soon as possible.
Tyrod probably goes by the wayside with Rex...because Tyrod is a system qb and its Rex's qb
Probably the best answer. Tough thing is that Russ is going to be in Pegula's ear regardless it seems, so it may just be that they need to push everyone out aside from Whaley. It hurts to push out Tyrod as I like him better than any QB since Bledsoe, but that's hardly a lineage of great QB's to compare to. I really wish that it had worked out this year with TT.

Jerry Hughes doesn't appear to be an activ participant in Bills practice today. Off to the side without his helmet.
is this still because of the Rob crap? Man...what a ridiculous thing.....

The S position on the Bills is like the keyboardist/organist for the Dead. Kiss of death.

Welcome to the 2nd annual meeting of the Buffalo chapter of the Rex Ryan fanclub....

I don't know why anyone really expected them to switch. Tyrod is far from what we want as a franchise QB, but he's the best chance to win out by a longshot. If these three games show progress in the passing games, which truly should be the only focus of the offense and yet probably won't be, then they are picking up that option. No rookies are coming out of this draft with first year starter potential at QB. It's loaded with WR and OL help though and there are two elite safety prospects in the 1st. These are the areas to address. Ergo, they will roll into 16/17 with a vet (Tyrod), a project (Cardale) and a back-up vet (Cutler?) and load up on other key areas. Not happy, but not even close to surprised

It's about time. He better enjoy his retirement. He's one re-tread that's never going to see another job in the NFL.

Not. Going. To. Happen
Rex wont get fired because he is the greatest and anybody who disagrees with that either doesnt know football or simply has an agenda.
Awesome! Rex posts here!

Figured you were scared.
Nah, just a sad, sad man.

Terrible. Such a waste. RIP

Mike Rodak revels in our misery. I would love nothing more than to whoop his Patriots ass regularly for the next 20 years and stick the mic in his face and shout "You like that?!?!"

He's practicing today
Practicing taking the day off?

Probably not. His third leg now bothers him I heard
That's a stereotype perpetuated by lonely white women....

I'm not giving that ungrateful prick anything! He's so pretentious. I wish Sherman would have jacked him up so high he was in the sky. He's one of two players I'm not a fan of on this team. They're both stars. McCoy, the first star and Watkins the second station the right. That's where he needs to be lit up to
McCoy?!! That guy is the whole damn offense!! He opens up the passing game and the running game for Gillislee as well. Perhaps it's an attitude thing that perturbs you, but I am more a fan of the player than the person and that dude can ball! Sammy.....well I love the player when he's healthy and I still hold out hope that he can return to the form of the second half of last season when he was a top 5 NFL WR.

Victoria, British Columbia.
Love seeing the distance and commitment from Australia to Taiwan to Argentina. Was so impressed with our fans last week at the Tailgate put on before the Monday Nighter. If there is a better fanbase in the NFL, I don't know who they are. We were a respectful, knowledgeable bunch. That is one of our marks of distinction when compared to fans of so many teams. I follow the Seachickens as my NFC team, but man so many of their fans couldn't give you the names of more than 4 players on that squad. But, truth be told, the overwhelming majority of their fans were very, very respectful and cheered appropriately. There was only one that I picked out (and I was in a section of about 40 Bills fans) that was taunting and heckling us.

Does he need t say anything more? The guy can't even make it in the field. Its time these kids play football and stop acting like a child! JR is right, these kids act like Peter pan and never grow up. Maybe Belichick is Hook in this case. Its a damn shame we gave up two first for him!
And......maybe you should check the link? Overreact much?

I look for Lewis to replace wood in the lineup...thoughts?
I thought the very same. Most NFL experience at the position and filled in quite well for the Hawks last year. We need to have a real center and he is the closest thing.

Lots of good ones, my favorites and won't break the bank
Radiator Whiskey upstairs near Pikes market
Brooklyn, steak seafood and Oyster bar
Pink Door, Italian
Taylor Shellfish bar
Cutters on the waterfront
Pioneer Square has lots of college type and dive bars, lots of restaurants
Enjoy
Been to Brooklyn and Pink door and back them 100%. Great Oysters at Brooklyn. Any tips in Queen Anne? We're staying at the MarQueen and get in late on Sunday and will need grub.

It's a violent game that I personally don't think humans are supposed to play.
That's a Whaley quote Marrone you stealing sunuva......!

Is he just visiting or will he stay in tomorrow?

Is the 88 keys tailgate on Sunday or Monday? We may attend the Sunday function but not sure just yet. My first time to Seattle. My fiancé is from Portland, so she loves Seattle and may wanna do some non bills activities on Sunday. We're looking for people to tailgate with on Monday.
88 Keys is Monday. The Sunday night event is at Art Marble 21. It's the Sunday meet-up spot for Bills games. I'm hearing Beef on Weck and garbage plates....maybe just fantastic rumors.... It's one you have to pay for, but it's not every day you hang with Andre Reed in Seattle.
I was texting with the Seattle Bills backers today. The tailgate is at a bar- 88 Keys. Apparently the parking lots suck and there's little tailgating. I haven't been up there since the Bills 2004 game.
All of this is true. there are some decent, smaller lots, but I don't recommend it. They are pretty territorial folk them Hawks fans.

I'll be there. Got tickets through the Bills Backers club in Seattle. Great people! They've got a Sunday Night Football party with Andre Reed going down too. It's gonna be a fun Sunday-Monday in Seattle. And, hell yeah I'm wearing Bills gear!

came here to post this, you beat me to it. zero chance he plays on sunday... he'll aggravate his hamstring or maybe injure his ovaries, in any case, wont see the field. I'd be surprised if he plays 3 games this year.
Yes, and I can see me on a romantic date with Jennifer Lawrence
Have a great time! She's cute.
