  1. I understand that I don't have enough posts for my opinion to be taken seriously, BUT, I feel like we have a throw away culture in Buffalo. We run coaches, players, etc. Out of town. We are not going to the playoffs this year, but we are young, talented and exciting to watch. We probably get one more year with Roman. Maybe we see what an off season of certainty looks like for one year, solid at QB, RB, and WR's. If nothing else, it's something to build on.

As long as Brady is at the helm we won't win the division, period. I think if we back off and quit being so dramatic, don't call for Rex, Tyrod's, who evers head and give plans an opportunity to work, players an opportunity to develop, we will end the streak of heart break.

Except Whaley, he's ruing our team for sure...

  2. power rankings are the most assinine, pointless, mind numbing waste of time in discussing a sport.

they are completely irrelevant to the game, to playoff implications, to statistics, to enjoyment of the sport, and to anything that could in any way be construed as a reason why a fan would follow the sport.

they exist solely for the purpose of generating page views for espn.com.

if i was the moderator of this site, i would allow

    snuff films

    child pornography

uploading of movies/music/video games and ebooks

copy/pasting of entire sections of websites that are locked to those who arent "insiders"

    racial language

non-censorship of every word in the history of humanity

the planning of co-ordinated illicit activities including, but not limited to, terrorism, violence and the selling and/or purchasing of narcotics

and things far worse than all of those

before i allowed posting of links to power rankings.

FOR INSTANCE: in the magical kingdom in the clouds, where this list is constructed, lets just say that the God-appointed-ESPN-rulers-of-the-universe/the-NFL were allowed to hold a "tournament" of sorts for their power rankings, inviting the top 16 teams on their list. 1 plays 16, 2 plays 15, standard tournament affair. well, the cardinals are the "11th best" team in football, so they would be in, while we are the "25th best," so we would be out. yet we just went on the road, and beat them in their house? 3 days ago. so...?

Please leave these things off the wall...

  3. I the concern as we want a winning mentality, however name a person you know that doesn't describe their job, or some facet of it, as difficult. Couple that with the scrutiny an NFL quarterback who should be a back up receives. Had he called Cleveland or KC an easy win we'd of torn him to pieces also.

  4. I don't understand & cannot accept the loser mentality that we as fans have. New England has been a way better team than us since the beginning of the millennium. They are the premier dynasty of the past decade. That being said, I go into every week optimistic (albeit cautious optimism) that the Bills will win, Mario will get better, Fitz will remove his head from his... You get the picture. Make friends with a 49ers fan and talk some smack, be a fan. I feel bad for some of your kids as I feel their parents are quitters. I haven't lived in WNY in 11 years (born & raised in Rochester), but if this is the mentality of the region, no wonder we've been basement dwellers.

  5. Who gives a sh--? DWI's aren't a big deal anywhere but New York. He !@#$ed up, spent the night in jail, and will pay through the nose for it. I'm glad to see a bunch of bloggers are better than to ever have a drink and drive but most people really don't care. Why is this newsworthy? I thought this was a sports website, not US Weekly...

  6. Neither left tackle who played in the superbowl is considered the best in the league at there positions. Where dominant left tackles Anthony Munoz, Walter Jones, Tony Boselli and many more never won a superbowl. At left tackle a competent athlete who is a good teammate will get the job done for you.

Only problem is a competent left tackle on a winning team who is getting the job done for you soon thinks he is the best in the business. Enter the Peters problem. It's considered the most important position in football to protect the quarterbacks blind side. Left tackles rarely make much in endorsements. There's no way around this issue

  7. I tried to order a personalized jersey on NFLSHOP.COM and they veto'd me because of what it said. My nick name is Moff Diver. I get the connotation and similarities. Anyone know any websites that will write whatever you want on a jersey? I protested with them but I think I'm gonna lose. Boot leg stuff = fine with me if the NFL does not want my money, some enterprising Indonesian surely does.

  8. San Fran: After his first full year of production he became a prima donna

Philly: Signed him to a 1 year deal. After one great year with his best friend Donovan McNabb he then got an extension and he became a prima donna

Dallas: Signed him to a 1 year deal. After a great first year, he signed a multi year contract. Cried for Tony Romo, and ultimately became a prima donna

Buffalo: Signed him to a 1 year deal. Will use his actions in Buffalo to go else where (hopefully another AFC East team) and become a prima donna

  9. Not the most popular post to introduce yourself with, but welcome aboard anyway.

Anybody who has there doubts about how well TO will do here in Buffalo really shouldn't be playing, judge jury and executioner before he even has a fair chance. TO was used as a scapegoat in Dallas and if you try to tell me TO wasn't doing a good job there when he scored more TD's then any other WR in the game during his stay, I'm not buying it.

No doubt the guy will put up big numbers, I'm excited to see him in our colors. I just hope he doesn't tear down the clubhouse, but then again it's not like we've been a playoff team before. Maybe since Buffalo lacks the major media outlets he will behave, I just don't know. Anyways, on the field it's a great move. Cancer is internal.
