Just a thought....isn't the vaunted Patriots defense just as bad if not worse than ours??? Just curious.....Simple math...score more points than the other guy and you win. Doesn't matter if it 17 - 13 or 43 - 41.

Maybin's in the exact position he should be playing, PE (Pine End). Weight is irrelevant for this position.

If this keeps happening, its only a matter of time until the entire nation sees someone die on the field. We are not very far off from that happening. You'd think the players would realize this and cut the BS, if not out of simple respect for other players, at least to help preserve the league that is paying them millions o dollars a year.
Id like to see an offensive guy use their helmet to go at Crowder's knees. We'll see how much he approves using the helmet as a weapon then.
This is the point everyone is missing...the offense does not have to play by the same rules. You tell defensive players to not lead with their head but if you heard Mike and Mike the other day, they had Merril Hodge on and he basically said in his career after he caught the ball over the middle, he would go looking for someone to hit. And to do that he needed to get lower than the D man...which meant he led with his head. This coming from a guy that suffered all those concussions. I am okay with the rule of not leading with your head but make it the same for offensive players...no lowering your head to take on a D man.

I was just wondering what way the Bills fans would go if we had (or might i say) when we have the 1st pick in next years draft .
Not that i have lost all hope yet
, but with the general thought in the media and around the league being what it is i'm trying to be realistic .I for one am thinking our best pick would be Ryan Mallet (if he comes out) he's got a strong arm - gun slinger type mentality - tall and athletic , the only short coming that i've read about is he needs to work on his accuracy .
Jake Lockers stock is dropping pretty quickly seeing his performance this ear has been less than stellar . If Mallets not there at #1 then i'm not sure where i'd go.
But i know you all will tell me where to go cause i always feel the love from the Bills faithful .
So what's your pick ?????
No One...According George Wilson (Bills Union Rep) they are planning for a lockout. Also, it doesn't matter, we will be the first team to not be able to sign their #1 before the October deadline which will cause that player to go back into the draft. Oh and it gets better...the Bills FO is just dumb enough to draft the same guy #1 overall again!!!

Did you watch said 2 games? We are the worst offense in the NFL. After watching Ohio State play in person, I would give the Bills 10 points agains them and they would still LOSE!!!!

Jests game was not the only one. There were stories out there that they had video taped the Rams walk through prior to the Superbowl. Nothing ever proven but I wouldn't have put it past them...
I think I just made everyones point...if they did it against the Jests, they probably did it against the Rams and thus their Superbowl win that years is severly tainted.

I think the problem is the Bill's love affair with small fast players. These players are prone to injuries in a 16 game season.

I thought it was odd also that he got a concussion, but when I watched the replay those two defenders drove his head into the ground and landed on top of it as well. They should get fines and or suspensions for that hit. His knees were on the ground when they decided to turn him into a pretzel, and then pound his head into the ground.
Trent is not Marcia, hence no penalty and no fine or suspension being levied. Have to remember, there is a double standard in the NFL.

:wallbash: Nobody here really challenged his talent...we challenged the way he went about his "business". Show up for work and prove you deserve your extension. He held out and sucked last year....threatened to hold out again and the Bills were supposed to pay him?!?!?!
However, I still think the Bills should have paid him....I believe they would have had he handled his situation more like Lee Evans....

Did anyone else notice that it looked like the players were not the only ones who learned a lesson from the Pats game? Perry Fewell was sending the kitchen sink the entire 4th quarter....I LOVED IT. If we had done that to Marcia, it would not have come down to a fumbled kickoff.

Really....can't blame the coaches....mentally preparing a team for the game is the number one job of coaches...so if there are mental errors, the coaches go to the top of list. I love McKelvin's enthusiasm as well but it is the coaches job to walk over to him and tell him TAKE FLIPPIN KNEE if the ball is anywhere near the endzone. We did not have a return team on the field...we had a hands team on the field. Coaches should have told him to get DOWN...nothing good happens from him returning the ball...ONLY BAD THINGS CAN HAPPEN as we witnessed.

If they were going to make all those moves think they would have at least been looking at it in practice by now.
Like the idea of the moves, but as long as doing that, would like to see wood and hang swap positions too. I know they don't want a Rookie at center as that position is doing all the line calls on the fly in a no huddle, but I think Hang is a better guard than tackle, and that Wood was the best center in the draft.
Maybe they wait till next year, so they can shuffle the line again.
