  1. Just before start of game, Jauron is caught off-guard by Canadian anthem, burns first time-out.

Bills lose coinflip...following advice of coaching staff, Jauron challenges "heads" call, loses, and burns second time-out.

Jauron peeved that Dolphins elect to receive, as he would have opted for kicking the ball had the Bills won the coin toss.

15:00 Dolphins commence long drive converting multiple 3rd downs...

13:35 Dolphins convert on 3rd and 22, defensive holding on McLovin

11:46 Dolphins convert on 3rd and 16 following sack by Kelsay...ball is jarred loose, fumble picked up by Ronnie Brown as Bills' Defense celebrates and Brown advances it for a first down

9:22 Dolphins convert on 3rd and 27, after Ted Ginn lines up in an illegal formation, runs out of bounds, runs back into field of play, pushes off on three different members of the Bills' secondary, takes off his helmet, and catches a pass on two hops with one foot out of bounds. Jauron starts blinking wildly (the signal to his staff that he wants to challenge the call), but the Dolphins get a play off before anyone can get the challenge flag out of his pocket.

Dolphins drive to end zone, take 7-0 lead.

Commercial break - thousands of Bills fans prepare to throw bottles of Labatt at TV screen, yet are strangely soothed by a gyrating Hawaiian girl in a grass skirt gesticulating how she needs a Five Dollar Footlong. Sadly, this brief respite from anger is ended by a rich b*tch getting a Lexus for Christmas and a argument among a family of hamburgers regarding the appropriateness of the young male hamburger selling himself for a dollar.

4:41 Bills take kick-off, McLovin returns it to midfield.

4:30 JP hands off to Beast Mode, who runs it down to the one-yard line

3:59 Jauron and Turk burn last time out of the half, trying to figure out the right play for first and goal from the 1 yard line. They settle on a wildcat formation direct snap to Derek Fine, who loses a yard on the play.

3:20 2nd and goal from the 2, Bills line up in empty backfield shotgun formation. JP holds ball in pocket, gets hit for fumble, recovered by Dockery.

3:17 First post on TBD calling for Hamdan

2:58 3rd and goal from the 7. QB sneak, loss of one.

2:12 4th and goal from the 8. Bills line up for field goal. Kick by Lindell deflects off of drunk Canadian falling from upper deck

2:09 First post on TBD calling for Lindell to be released

Following some more commercial breaks where zero percent financing is offered for everything under the sun and Beyonce begs us all to let her "upgrade our packages" (insert pun here), the game resumes. Dolphins add two field goals and take 13-0 lead into the locker room.

Sideline reporter approaches Jauron on way to locker room. Jauron instinctively starts with the, "well, obviously, we'd like to be 13-0 instead of 6-7" speech. Jauron is informed that it's only halftime. Jauron challenges and burns first time out of 2nd half, insisting that the game is over.

    Final

    Fins 20

    Bills 3

This really is some priceless shyt here! I love it and it could happen <_<

  2. Yes today's loss sucked. And going 1 & 5 in our last 6 sucked harder. But if Bills beat Miami next week, they will be:

    - tied with them at 7 & 6;

    - could also be tied with Pats if they lose to Seattle, which they could after today's brutal beating and needing to travel to west coast;

    - could be one game behind Jets as today could also the mark the beginning of a losing streak of their own given they also travel to west coast to play 9ers (who aren't all that bad, as we saw today).

Even if we win and Jets and Pats win, we're still very much in the thick of it as the week after we play the Jets. Win that and worst case we're a game behind them, likely ahead of Fins and tied with Pats. I could see us winning that too because although I like the talent the Jets have, I think they're coach Mangini is a fraud and could show his true colors down the stretch.

Win the next week against Broncos and I see us ahead of Pats who play Cards that week in what I think is a terrible mismatch for Pats secondary. And Fins should be well behind in our rear view mirror.

That sets up big showdown against Pats in Buffalo in last game of season. If it means everything is on the line, I could see Bills and their fans pulling one out and stealing the AFC east. And of course a 10 & 6 record gives us a good chance of capturing the wild card in the (I think) unlikely scenario we run the table from here and don't win the division. Running the table almost certainly puts us no worse than 2nd in AFC east, which means the wildcard competition comes from outside the division from Colts and Ravens. I am willing to concede Colts one of those spots, but I think Ravens are headed for a meltdown now with Skins, Steelers, Cowboys and Jags their remaining games. So I'd say 10&6 gives us 50/50 chance of catching them too.

I know it's a long shot us winning out, but hey that would be the attitude of a perenial winning franchise like Steelers or Colts right now. They'd say hey guys, let's get on a roll now, be physical, and take these next 4 and I like our chances. That's the exact attitude Bills need right now, otherwise they are doomned, not just this year, but every year until they adopt that approach.

Are you kidding me? I was wondering how long it would be until someone would come out with the" if then " theory on how the Bills could make it to the post-season. We wouldn't have to worry about which team losing to who and if the moon is full and if Saturn was aligned with Uranus, if the Bills would just beat the teams they should beat. They suck . Do you really want to see this team in the playoffs? I say NO. For me the season is over. <_<

  3. I don't have to hear it...I'm sure it contained these classic gems...

    "we just didn't execute today"

"the players didn't make the plays they needed to"

"we'll just go back to work and fix the mistakes"

"The NFL is a tough league to win in".

All these and more can be found in his new book "Dick Jauron's Guide to Pissing Away an NFL Season". Available at a Barnes and Noble near you. Makes a great stocking stuffer...

It's not Dicky J's stocking I would stuff it in!!!

  4. It will continue until this city wins a pro championship of somekind or you pack up and leave this pit of misfortune. You feel this way bacause you see other cities old and new to their respective sports win championships EX.Carolina, Anahiem, Tampa Bay. Or football's Ravens and Tampa bay Bucs. Being a Buffalonian comes with the baggage of being the barren waste land of New York state. We get nothing from Albany and zero respect from the rest of the nation. The Bills were stepping stones for other teams to win Championships and the Sabres were stepping stones for Carolina and Ottawa, Philly and Dallas. It is also the way we lose, the absolute break down of the way that got us to the "Big Show" . I use the 1999 Sabres for an example we were a shut down team that took the oppostions big guns out of the game. Tight checking and good puck control with 4 lines that could score... Then that all went out the window. We choked, not resembling the team that was in the regular season or in the second season. Combine that with the dark cloud like, wide right, miracle in Memphis, no goal, no goal #2, no goal #3 and the steady stream of self inflicted gun shots to the feet and you start to carry it around like luggage, bitter and pissed looking at other teams saying " if they were in a Buffalo uniform we would still lose" . Losing has become away of life here in Buffalo. While the world lives, we die one year at a time. Soon both franchises will be gone and so will I.

  5. Lame, the whole thing was just lame. Can't tell if its the QB, the WRs not getting open, whatever. Why do we support this organization?? As far as this 30+ yr die hard fan is concerned, they can go to Toronto next week and stay there. Maybe Rogers and Toronto $$$ can put some life back in this franchise.

Toronto is not far enough, let them become the Kabul Bills and dodge AK-47 rounds when they suck this bad...

  6. I was just going to start a thread about that. I'm listening to this crap online and I can't believe what an incredible azz this guy is. He's got nothing significant or entertaining to say so all he does is mow down his callers, regardless of what they are trying to say. I can't believe this douche has a radio show.

I hate schopp, he is the one reason I stopped listening to WGR 550 in the afternoon. Very harsh on his callers. Keep in mind that these guys don't want to get their credentials pulled.

  7. I have learnt that no matter how much progress one phase of this team makes another fails. Like the O line, they played awesome today both pass blocking and run blocking but the QB failed, again. Special teams is always good, and even our D was making stops on 3rd down. That opening drive is what killed us. Field goals killed us and a head coach that doesn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground killed us. P.S. I am at that stage of not caring either , even last week when we killed K.C. I didn't care, no cheers no yells of jubilation could be heard. Just the blank stare of another Buffalo sports sunday gone to waste, just like today. This team sucks, this city sucks, this state sucks. The dark cloud of misforune has a permanent grip on Buffalo, always has ,always will

  8. I am coming up with a new item for fans that attend Bills games in person. Just like the airlines do, I am going to ask the Bills front office to install barf bags on the backs of all seats at the Ralph. Now the stadium name will also have two meanings.

I am patenting this idea as we speak.

Your avatar is giving Hazed and Amused a run for it's money... NICE.

  9. hopefully you finally realize the guy is garbage

I am not a JP backer, but he played well today. Until protection failed and the play calls got even more vanilla than in the first half. His numbers were pretty good, for a backup. 49 er's coverage was tight thats why Lynch had a career day. JP should have ran more and earlier also, not waiting for the pocket to collapse.
