  1. Damn. I had no idea about all this.

I don't do cell phones or twitterverse, but I still get to be in the Gang?

another nice write up by Janine T btw

    Yes sir!

It's nice that Bills fans have a distinctive national handle. It's better than (Your team here) Nation.

I couldn't agree more. Anything that sets ourselves apart from the rest of the world is definitely a plus. Especially our rabid fanbase, which actually does a phenomenal job by ourselves haha

  2. kidiggz - Bills Mafia the "Twitter Group" ARE the fans. And the fans are Bills Mafia. Twitter affiliated or not. Just because it started with Twitter, doesn't mean you aren't called part of the Mafia. If you are a fan of the Bills, you're now part of the Mafia.. It's not like they only want those who use twitter to call themselves #BillsMafia lol

  3. I read the whole article. And so far, without reading any of the opinions of my fellow posters here first... I want to share my unbiased opinion. I want Rex to be the head coach for a very long time. I love him. I love his passion, his loyalty and I KNOW his defenses will be nasty - not counting this past years. I am not going to worry about the way this defense shapes up for the 2016 season, because I am confident it will be fine. Go Bills! Go Rex!

  4. Hardy would be a nice addition for the right price. Rex may be able to handle him.

Another guy to consider is DT/DE D. Easley who was recently released by NE.

I would consider adding both of them with Sh. Lawson expected to be out for 5-6 months, meaning that he could miss 4-6 weeks of the 2016 NFL season.

Both guys are athletic enough to play DT and DE in Rex's scheme.

The top 50 available NFL FAs list came out recently. Easley and Hardy were listed at #3 and #4 overall respectively.

Of course, there's a reason that guys that are as talented as these two are still available.

Sign these two guys and our defense could loo like this:

    Hardy/Easley/Dareus/K. Williams/Hughes

    Ragland/P. Brown

    Gilmore/A. Williams/Graham/Darby.

Yeah, except Easley was signed by the Rams. Next... I voted Yes. I want Hardy, if he helps the defense by pressuring the QB and getting sacks, I don't care about the character. You need him for one year only, perfect while Lawson is going through rehab and getting acquainted with Rex's defense. I also wouldn't mind signing Shawn Oakman on a tryout.

  5. As a former player and coach I can tell you this

The more you require a player to "think" on a field the more it takes away from reactionary time, communication, and players start cheating on their basic fundamentals......

There is a reason why 2 tenths of a second is made a big deal of at the NFL level......because its the difference between winning and losing on a a play

Now.....I dont necessarily think that Rex Ryan's past schemes are wrong....only that I thought it might take some time for the players to become adjusted to them......and for Rex to become adjusted to his players

    fingers crossed

    This! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

  6. I'm going to say no. For a few reasons. There are positives and negatives here.

Positives: knows how to tackle. And knows Rex's D.

Negatives: Doesn't make huge plays. Not the best in cvg.

We can find a far cheaper LB with more potential and more play making ability imo in someone who hasn't had the opportunity. Ty Powell is still on the team as wel guys. Don't sleep on him. He would have out played Bradham and probably Brown this year with how those guys played.

  7. They already will have a hard time deciding which of the current WRs stay. I doubt they will be looking outside.

SeeBallGetBall is on to something though with this kid. If Davis is let go, I'd like us to take a look at him as well... Who we'd cut, it'd have to be a receiver. I'd rather have him than Hogan and Goodwin probably.

  8. My main point still doesn't change, which is Fred Jackson fumbles just as much if not more than Bryce Brown, yet it's Brown who has the bad reputation from his first year in the league.

That's what I saw. One time after he was down on his back well after the play the ball came out. Did I miss an actual fumble?

I thought Brown and Tarpley were the only ones that really helped themselves. And Reddick but he is so new.

No, the OP may have caught something most of us missed... or he's drunk.

  9. Fundamentally false. He had 3 fumbles (none lost) on 207 touches (including receptions). http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/10195/fred-jackson

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JackFr02.htm This was the first site I plucked the stats from. Now I'm not sure if they are grading them differently or what but I see now, most sites show he has 3 Fumbles all on receiving.
