  1. I did not like the topic. Draft Tebow he will be great or not he will suck? I do not want the Bills to draft him but I do not think he will suck. I did not like the topic. Draft Tebow he will be great or not he will suck? I do not want the Bills to draft him but I do not think he will suck. We have too many other needs at this time to waste on not a top 5 QB.

  2. A Daunte Culpepper signing would make some posters here sick to their stomachs. I'm not one of them. Culpepper is better than alot of other junk that's been mentioned on here as a possible QB suggestion. Matt Hasselbeck, Marc Bulger, Tyler Thigen? Hass and Bulger won't make it though any NFL season in one piece again. They are both beyond brittle at this point.

Culpepper has always had a strong arm and is still fairly mobile. He has been on some really bad football teams the last several years, and hasn't had much help. Miami (when they were really down), Oakland and Detroit. Who would have looked good in those situations?? Nobody! And he seemed to be those teams best options at times.

Just remember that Culpepper was a Pro-Bowler when he was younger, albeit throwing to a young Randy Moss. But, Daunte does throw a nice deep ball. I bet Lee Evans would be all for signing him. He sure would throw deep more often than Captain Checkdown or noodle-armed Fitz.

Now, I'm not saying he'd be the answer, I'm saying he's worth a look. Our current QB situation is unacceptable. I can't imagine heading into the 2010 season with Trent or Fitz as our starting QB. The season would be anti-climactic in the sense that it'd be over before it started, for all real intents and purposes. (I read an article that said Fitz is one of the worst back up QBs around with one of the weakest arms, and lowest avg per completion the last few years. I don't even want that clown on the team. )

Has Culpepper retired? What's his status?

No why, he is nothing with out randy moss, small hands bad decision maker.
  3. I will give you a list of what i think needs to happen.

1.You have to get a LT I would want Bryan Bulaga, Anthony Davis or Trent Williams. If all are gone then Rolando McClain or Dez Bryant. if all are gone try like hell to trade down.

2.DT Dan Williams or Cam Thomas if they are not there then Sean Weatherspoon or Eric Norwood

    3. Rb this kid is a beast Toby Gerhart, IF M Lynch can't get it to geather then you have a good back up plan. If he is gone then LeGarrette Blount, this kid can be your pound back and if you talk trash you too can get the mighty Duck Punch.

4.TE Aaron Hernandez, Ed Dickson, Rob Gronkowski

    5. DE, OR OLB, best on your board

    6. SS or WR

    7. OL or DL

any picks after this must be special team stand outs.

you might like it not sure, that is what i would like to do.

  4. You need to put down the cool aid. This staff sucks. your qb goes for 89 yds! total!!!!! and the walking dead/head coach wants to stick with him. I am 40, out of shap, I could put up 89 yards today in the NFL. I knew the team would turn TE into a bad QB. every scout, player personal said this kid could play and look a what the sorry A$$ bills did to him. Start at the top and fire everyone and start over. This is not getting it done.

  5. Ok we know he should be fired right? But what happens if he is not? For me I would still want the bills to do well but I would start to root for another team. Yes I am a fan but I am a fan of good football and if this organization is ok being grouped with the crappy teams in the league. That is not ok with me; I will not root for an organization that is being run poorly. I look at it like a Job. If my boss or company treats me like crap I not going to be around very long. The way the bills are playing I have found better thing to do on Sundays. Hanging with the wife and playing with my kids. So I am do venting, I hope thing get better and if they do not, then nothing will really change will it. , most of you will still buy your tickets and will be on this board saying the same things. I hope I am wrong. <_<

  6. If QB is in your top three then you do not have a clue. You have to fix the line first! what do you think of Trent Dilfer (SP). He was not the best he did dink N dunk and had a great O line. So if i am the GM I bring in a new staff then draft in this order

    1 OL

    2 DT

    3 LB

    4 C

    5 DT or LB

    6 TE

    7 LB

Then find the best FA players that fit what i want to do. Tell Ralph to open his wallet, He can't take it with him. Stop liven in the past, no one cares what you did in the 60's or 90's the time is now so lets get it done.

  7. I think that Trent's problem is he doesn't understand when to release a ball into a route.

He definitely does not know how to throw a timing pattern - whether a slant, curl or even the deep route.

He seems to have lost all his confidence and looks completely lost out there

It's maddening to see that he can only seem to throw to a receiver that's wide open (usually the checkdown).

I much like most of you watch avidly and PVR the heck out of the game.....the O-line is not the greatest but on most drop-backs he has 4 - 6 seconds to get rid of the ball........that's enough time........look at A. Rodgers in GB - he's getting clobbered and has less time but he's had quite a few hook-ups and understands when to get rid of the ball into a pattern.......that is an instinct and trent just doesn't have it..........or he did have it but lost it........I think that is the major difference in winning and losing this year.........If you have a QB that get's it you win games........Let's see how Ryan's Hope plays this Sunday and the next couple weeks.......it's not too far fetched to see if this team pulls that aspect of it's game together we can still make the playoff's - you heard it hear first - sit down and look at the schedule that's left.......it's doable! Possibly as good as 11-5..........after all - look at the beggining of the season last year........If we can have a finish like we started last year - maybe we will be back in the playoffs before long!!!

And what do you do for a living? How many QB's have you coached? And what in put do you have durning the QB meettings?

  8. The lack of creativity in the offence. Not using to and evens on the same side. You have a full back and you do not use him. Trent can throw deep I just do not know why they are not helping him develop into the QB everybody thinks he could be. I am tired of being the place that kills QB’s

The defense that is getting killed in the running game. Our best players are getting hurt way too much. No one has stepped up to be a play maker. I hate the type of defense we play. We do not match up very well. Too much zone. When we do blitz we get stuffed, no big hits on any QB's only ours.

This is the last year for Dick; he is just not getting it done. Please bring in a GM that knows how to draft and a name that people know and the players will run throught a wall for. Not one the player just like.

    Sorry just venting............

  9. He's only accurate because the guy only throws three to six yard dump offs. His deep passes are of the high arc variety and the majority of those have been at best below average throws. To be a successful starting NFL QB you must be able to throw a deep pass with some zip on the ball and you also have to be athletic enough to escape danger situations. Trent doesn't have those skills. We all know that his line sucks badly and we can sympathize with him on that, but Trent simply does not posses the necessary skills to be a successful starting NFL QB. He will be a career backup guy somewhere. He will never be a guy who can deliver a 16 game winning season. Our most probable future QB is currently playing on Saturdays this season.

How many passes did Wes welker have ten? And how many were under ten yards, all of them. You do not throw into double or triple converge. The line is bad and needs help but Trent is a good QB under the right HC.

  10. Bruce did a great job in his speech tonight- it was just about a perfect Bills evening at the HOF. However, no one mentioned a teammate who was a big part of the last sniff the Bills had of the playoffs, with Smith, Reed and Thomas still on the team. The one who enabled the Bills to "circle the wagons" on offense for what was the last time for that group of players (minus Kelly, who had retired).

I mean of course the Diminutive One, Doug Flutie.

I remember one game where Flutie ran for a TD on a broken play toward the end of the season to win a game, and Bruce picked him up on the sidelines like a ragdoll. I think Paul Maguire said something like, "Bruce has children bigger than Flutie". Euphoria. Berman. Wagons circling again.

The last good time this organization had in 10 years was when Flutie was on the team with Smith & Co. Why no mention?

    (Ignorant dwarf jokes begin...now)

You must be burning tree? right? Doug who?

  11. He is 18 months old. Why should I make the rest of his sports-loving life miserable by being a Bills fan?

My wife is from Pittsburgh but she has no say in this and I can't let him being a Steeler fan, but why should I be so selfish and put him through this misery?

    Somebody give me a reason.

If you are a good dad and I know you are because you are trying to keep him from a long life of pain. You let him chose the team he wants to root for. I am so tired of the bills, they need to clean house and start over. My son is 9 and I have told him that he can pick any team to root for. He like players and not teams but I think he is starting to like the raven or Steelers and I am fine with that. I have my brother to hate his is a fish fan.

  13. Trent has ruined this season with his brilliant consecutive trifecta of losing to the Dolphins, Jets and Patriots. Sorry and no offense pal, but you suck. He's clueless and needs to sit and watch Losman being given his final chance to resurrect his career as a Buffalo Bill.

These last three losses are so historically bad for this franchise that I don't think we here at TSW are even fully aware of the magnitude.

I know LABillsfan is going to give me flack and plenty of others here, but drastic times call for drastic measures. I think Trent has tossed every last bit of 5-1 cache he had with these last three abysmal games against the AFC East division. It's time to shake things up and put a QB in there that can actually get the ball to #83. If Losman fails, then give the ball to Hamden. I'm done with Edwards. You and your head coach can take a hike.

STOP already! How many practices have you been to? Let the coaches do their job. If JP was better then he would be the Man.
