  1. Dumb post

Will be a better LT this year than Langston Walker. Walker is a kind of old, fat, overweight giant. He's going to embarrass himself trying to block on the left side. The right side, fine, he can block over there against the chris kelsay's of the world. But 95% of RE's should be able to beat him consistently. Even if Bell is weak, he is athletic enough to keep up with these guys, and you would think he is at least strong enough to push around the Freeney's, Schobel's, Maybin's, and Adalius Thomas's of the world. Being a LT is not about being 6'8 and having no agility, its about being athletic and quick and at least average strength(which Bell should've developed).

Even if Walker is the better football player per se, he will absolutely suck on the left side. And please don't point to the first few games last year. There will undoubtedly be at least 12 times Walker's guy simply runs around him, if he starts at LT.

  2. I know that Lynch will be gone for a few games.

I know that we will need depth at RB.

I know that D.Rhodes is a quality verteran, who in case of injuries could start for a while.

    I also know...

In a few games Lynch will be back.

    Fred Jackson KICKS ASS!

If we can't afford luxary items like Parrish( who IMO is extrememly valuable), then why the hell can we afford what will soon become the best THIRD string back in the league?

    D. Rhodes also wants playing time(can't blame him) but in only a few games we will wont have enough carries for 3 starting caliber RB's.

Why didn't we just suck it up and tried to go with Jackson as starter, and maybe Oman or someother cheap player as backup? It will only be for a max 3 games. I really wish we had just given Jackson a fair raise with the money that we spent on Rhodes.

Don't get me wrong, I like Rhodes, it's just that RB is already possibly our deepest position!

Rhodes was a bust in Oakland and seems he only produces when he's with the Colts. He's washed up. I agree we should pay Fred his money and start him the first 3 games and if he does well then Lynch can sit and spell him for awhile.

  3. Clay is Bruce Matthews' son and Clay Matthews nephew, I believe? Can a young man coming out of college into the NFL be any STUPIDER then he, with that kind of pedigree and experience to learn from, if he indeed is juicing??

First off Clay Mathews Jr. HELLO!!!!!!!! isn't Bruce's son.... What is "STUPIDER" you thinking that or juicing doesn't happen.

C'mon the criteria for failing a steroid drug test is that you have to have over 5X the amount of testosterone then a normally level and a normal level is 280-1200 range so you do the math and tell me how much more test can be acceptable.

T-31. Jason Peters, Buffalo, 11.5 sacks* PRO BOWLER (13 games)

Can Peters run blocking be that good? Heck no.

Goes to show how much of a joke the pro bowl is.

And to the ones here in defense to Bill Belichick... He might not have said Peters wasn't good enough to be on the Patriots... but I guarantee he wouldn't want Peters on his team.

How do I know? It's common sense an idiot could figure out.

This board is wayyyyyyyyyyy too narrow minded.

Come out this Friday night in Buffalo and lets have a few drinks (and get off this website for awhile!)

  6. This makes two seasons in a row Jason Peters has been voted to the Pro Bowl and due to injuries he has not mande it. In my opinion I do not know how good he really is because he hasn't shown me in the Pro Bowl. I believe the Pro Bowl is a waste of time anyways because if a player is good and makes it the next season that just commands him more money which ruins a team's salary cap. If he is so good why does he allow himself to get hurt at the end of the season anyway?
