  1. not saying Brohm is Aikman but he didn't look rattled even though he was behind a high school line. ball came out fast and the long passes missed could be corrected with time spent with receivers. Id like to see the Kid get a chance with proper teaching. Then we can concentrate on other needs in the draft. I know some had said M. Vick would be good here I only agree if Dungy follows and I don't see that happening. It would have been nice to see if Brohm could handle the buffalo weather but we were concentrated on winning. I just wanted to see if anyone else thinks like i do?

ummmm no. He was a second round pick of the Pack one year ago and winds up on their practice squad?? Even Hardy didn't stoop that low.

  3. Nice dreams :wallbash:

Why don't you guys get the fact that Ralph Wilson ISN"T going to fire Jauron unless he absolutely needs to... as every game is still a sellout in Buffalo and the cash keeps pouring in.

Wilson may not even fire Jauron after this season... even if he finishes 3-13, I have serious doubts he will fire him and still pay him while having to pay another head coach.

Your thinking of owners like Pat Bowlen who refuse to field a constant losing team, Wilson doesn't care as long as he makes money, deal with it!!!!!

What would be gained, the team still would suck and half the D ia hurt

  4. Everyone says our Tackles suck , and that maybe true , but most of our sacks come right up the gut.. Frankly they all suck or are playing out of position. Nothing like taking the best college center and making him a guard while taking an NFL Guard and making hin the center.. still say 3-13

  5. I have to admit that when I read the first post I thought: "Someone is going to blame this all on the loss of Rusty Jones...." Nice to know that some things in life continue to flow in the same grooves.

Every team in the NFL has players out for the season, we're just lucky none of our guys are very good. Butler is mediocre and he'll be replaced with another mediocre guy..

  6. you are probably a realist - but I still think if you took the best talent on this team, put them in the right positions, and gave DJ a shot of testosterone and adrenaline we could go 10-6 and a wild card.

The NFL is a league of playmakers. IMO not one Bill is in the top ten at his position and that includes T.O. who is 36. Can't win that way. Jerry Sullivan wrote a good article today in the NEWS.

  7. For months now I've predicted a 3-13 season and the majority have called me a non Bills fan. I love my Bills but I honestly think Jauron is the WORST coach they ever had, and that's saying alot! Just before the kick-off, The Steelers head head coach was roaming the sidelines screaming, hollering, being a cheer leader. And jauron was adjusting his headphones. Teams can do what they want with us. If they want to run, we can't stop it . If they want to pass, no problem because we can't reach the QB.

On offense, Edwards has lost confidence. He looks like a deer in the headlights. Already it's obvious that Walker is not an left-side OT and Levitre is not ready to start.

Oh yeah, McGee will be gone after 09 also. I will adjust my prediction to 2-14 and maybe a top pick . We will draft a QB and get a new coach and start over.. AGAIN!

  8. Listen, you know I'm not the most positive of Bills fans, but I have to wonder about all the hating on the Bills after that game. They moved the ball reasonably well. Could they have performed better in the red zone? Absetively. But I get the feeling that will come with time. Couldn't be more excited about T.O.! How nice is it to see a big target crossing over the middle and actually making the catch? One area of concern was the Defense, though. They looked just like they did at the end of last year, that is to say out of position. Still, it's VERY early to be casting judgement on the team. I think if the no-huddle is given the chance to work, it could prove to be very beneficial to the team and if T.O. can contribute just the same numbers hae had in Dallas, we'll see an improved Bills team this year. GO BILLS!

    l

Not "hating" but 10 years of futility with not much there now to cheer. You have the worst OL in the NFL with 2 rookies starting , 2 guys learning new positions, and Walker at LT who is a stiff.

    You have an unproven QB.

You still have no pass rush, you still have Ellison starting who is a doormat on runs. You also have a loser coaching staff.

    3-13 "baby" !!!!

  9. People make predictions all the time, based on some criteria, so why should this be scoffed at? Have you ever made a prediction? What do you base it on? There's got to be some basis. I could look at each game based on gut feel, and I'd probably still come up with 8-8 or the dreaded 7-9. Yes I'll agree that preseason predictions are pretty useless, but it's all in fun.

Even power rankings four weeks into the season are pretty useless considering last year.

20-23rd seems about right considering the mess on the OLine and elsewhere.. that would be 5-11 or so..

  10. The Bills record is ranked 29 out of 32 teams over the past decade. Someone needs to defend that.

The Bills have not made the playoffs in 9 consecutive years. Someone needs to defend that.

Two of the primary personnel staff, John Guy and Tom Modrak, have been in the front office during the team's dismal and embarrassing performances. They are still prominent employees in the football operation. Someone needs to defend that.

The Bills have gone three consecutive years with a record of 7-9. They finished last season with a resounding 2-8 record. The HC is given an extension. Someone needs to defend that.

The clueless owner elevates the marketing specialist, Russ Brandon, to preside over the organization. The barely lucid owner says he is promoting from within because he is comfortable with that arrangement. Russ Brandon is competing with the likes of Bill Parcells and Bill Bilichick. Someone needs to defend that.

The Bills's owner and organization have come to represent institutional mediocrity. What the Pittsburgh Pirates are to baseball and the Los Angeles Clippers are to the NBA, the Bills are to the NFL. Some people are proud of that status; I find it embarrassing.:lol::lol:;)

Absolutely, and the biggest reason the above exists is that the "fans" ask for one more beer and don't demand changes. Ralph laughs all the way to the bank!

  11. The Bills have now signed their 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks leaving their 2 first-rounders, 2 second-rounders, and 4th round unsigned. Training cap opens in 2 days. The Bills, of course are starting early because of the Hall of fame exhibition game. There is little "slotting" going on now, the Bills usually follow the slots and don't usually set the salary standard being a small market team. Anyone see a problem , especially when 3 rookies will be starting or at least playing significantly very early?

  12. CHECK IT

Beast mode is solid. Dude plays with intensity. He's a tough runner. He's not the fastest back in the league and at times his field vision is questionable but I love his style. If you put him behind a good run blocking line or an offense with a respected passing game, his stats would be among the league leaders.

The creed of a Bill; "Motor always running, loves the game, plays every down"... The problem is lack of talent..

  13. Whitner? Come on already! The guy has played 3 seasons and clearly will never be a "playmaker." He's a great leader but an average safety.

I'll go out on a limb and say Puz becomes a solid to good MLB.

I like your choice of Trent Edwards who has lots of weapons finally. Problem is the O-line is probably going to be a disaster and he'll likely get hurt. The O-line (and smoking weed) is also going to hinder Marshawn Lynch who could otherwise have had a breakout year.
