  1. Greed is a good thing. It wakes you up for work. It moves you to better yourself and your kids. The NFL is the great product it is because of greed. If this is your real thoughts and feelings, you need to see more of the world.

Greed in it's self doesn't wake me up each morning, needing the money to barely survive in a world full of greed does. I guess if that is what you mean, then ok, greed does wake me up. I tend to think different though.

I do not see the NFL as a great product as you do. If the NFL went away tomorrow I wouldn't miss it, so to me it isn't a "great product". An automobile, computer, dishwasher, clothes washer, refrigerator, cordless drill/screwdriver, etc are great products, the NFL, not so much it's just a way to kill a few hours and suck a few beers.

As far as seeing the world, you are right, I need to see more if it. I would love nothing more than to get lost in some small village in the Italian countryside and never have to use money, sipping wine and eating pasta with my family, not caring to ever see another Verizon, GM, McDonalds commercial or NFL game ever again.

Greed is a useful tool if done right. The NFL is over the top with greed (blackout rule) and not even close to being done right.

  2. If you really hate the Bills game in Toronto, you don't have a realistic understanding of how small of a market Buffalo really is and you really don't understand how the NFL works. Grow up and quit your whining. This is the way it is and it has to be.

No it doesn't. It is only like this because of pure greed on behalf of the NFL, Ralph Wilson, and the rest of it's owners.

  3. I have plenty of tolerance sir and there is no cause.....unless you are referring to the cause of making the playoffs. which i do indeed support.

your panties get in a bunch on every fitzpost....... "blind devotion to the cause" should be your screenname IMO..........no need to comment, we already know what your gonna say.

your namecalling with the iq stuff for the 10th time is a little tired.........if you wanna come to my house and play football jeopardy for $$$ COME ON DOWN! just leave your #14 jersey at home and i will welcome you in with open arms.

I like good qb's i guess i should apologize for that around sensitive fitzbackers like yourself. three more embarrassing weeks and maybe you will change your tune. 5-8 sucks a major one in my book.

    ooohhh, big letters again.

So that is why you think you are the Buffalo Bills savant. I see!

  4. nope this is it yall can discuss "the guy"

have retired from previous threads before over the fitz colored glasses some of yall forget to take off.

now retiring from all fitztalk, not just singular threads...........so freakpop you and your fitzbackers club can speak freely as IMO a fitzbacker doesn't have credibility to speak football with..............felt the same way about Trentbackers.

Use your eyes people is the best advice i can give. I just want a real qb. Keep whining about my posts because your fitzcrush has betrayed you. hurts a lil huh?

Yall, haven't heard that since I lived in Florida, southern thing, thank god!

Good retire from TBD also, we can only hope.

What it really boils down is the lack of your football IQ to understand or have a tolerance to other peoples opinions that disagree with you, and in turn it starts to be a pisssing match because of your blind devotion to your cause.

Advice, from you, no thank you, period!

  5. Ok, seriously, I am getting tired of this response that talks about people clamoring for an elite QB. NO ONE expects the Bills to find the next Tom Brady, a top 10 QB all time, and some consider top 5. Geezus, the over dramatization by the apologists of this fact is so annoying. You act like Fitz is so good that the only way to upgrade him is with an Elite all time best QB...get real. Any top 15 QB would be an upgrade and if we can find a guy who is accurate, can use the whole field, and not mistake prone we would be doing just fine. Do we need a Brady...no, obviously it would be great, but we don't need a Brady. Even a 2nd tier guy would be a nice upgrade from Fitz, a third tier guy.

No one has some unrealistic expectation or demand to find the next HOF QB, just someone who win some games.

Well, boohoo puppydog. Equally annoyed at your constant pot shots and heavy handed way you attempt to counter anybody who doesn't share your same point of view. And yes all Fitz haters want an elite QB(and I want one also) because an average Fitz isn't good enough to them.

  6. Dude...read what I wrote...you are looking at the old rating system that coaches, scouts, analysts, etc havent used forever and consider a meaningless stat as it only tracks a few stats and tracks nothing to do with effectiveness. It never ceases to amaze me how little people read of a post before they reply to it. I just explained this to you in the very post you replied to...so you made two mistakes...one it wasnt NFL.com and two you are not looking at QBR. If you are going to site QBR scores in other posts, it would probably help to know what QBR is so you can get the right stats.

Try scrolling down the main stats page and clicking on the link that says QBR...

Here I will help you... http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr

I went there, and what ever all those stats and acronyms mean, who knows. It absolutely has Fitz ranked 25th, how I don't really know or understand.

I do know that I went and checked Fitz week by week to see what he was like.

    It went like this:

    3 weeks ranked in the 20's - 29,29,22

3 weeks in the top 12 - 4,10,12.....I used 12 because it is not a teen.

    6 weeks in the teens - 18,15,16,14,19,18

That looks to be the exact definition of average, 3 bad weeks, 3 good weeks, and 6 average weeks. I have no idea how that equates to 25th other than then there is 5 guys who have missed at least 2 games or more that were ranked ahead of Fitz.

  7. I'm getting more than a little tired of the constant Fitzpatrick bashing here.

12 games have been played. The Bills are 16th in points scored and 4th in points scored against.

I agree 100% with you #1. You can't argue with ignorance.

Before this season if people were asked if they would take 3500+ yards 25+ TDs 15+ Ints and about 25 sacks from the QB and an offense that scores about 25 points per game, I guarantee you about 90%+ of Bills fans would have signed up for that.

  8. I'd like to hear of an instant where a notoriously inaccurate QB became consistently accurate.

What is the point of practicing then? So you don't think practice is a tool to help accuracy within any sport? How does anybody improve accuracy at what ever sport they do? Improving accuracy does happen in all facets of all sports and you would be really dumb to think it doesn't. Do you think athletes are just born with it and there is no such thing as improving accuracy? I don't think so! C'mon please tell me you are smarter than that!

  9. The fallacy of anyone arguing the point of better 'teaching' is that teaching can help turn potential into performance but it cannot increase potential ability. For example, I could use a personnal trainer to increase my strength and conditioning but not to a point that exceeds my genetic potential. If a QB is inaccurate with the ball, outside of improving mechanics which was reported in the preseason with QB coach Lee, there is little coaching can do here. The solution is to find/draft a QB that throws with greater accuracy.

Accuracy at anything can be improved or people wouldn't practice at it.

  10. so what has fitz done to make him better than charlie batch? please do explain.........lay off with clueless talk Jack. lets be civil here

what intangible skill does fitz have that batch does not? explain without attacking my charecter please.

as section122 has shown you, you kinda do fit the clueless talk, Jack!

  11. Well, you got that one wrong.

What teams would be interested in Fitz as a starter? Asked another way what team would you not take the starter from? jests, AZ are sure things. Jacksonville? That's all I got so I'd rank him 27ish figuring Quinn and Palmer are pushes.

I would NOT take the following teams starters over Fitz.

    Jets

    Browns

Dolphins-maybe as Tannyhill is just a rookie

    Titans

    Jaguars

    Chiefs

Raiders-maybe, inconsistancy issues, kinda what we have now with Fitz

    Chargers-maybe, see Raiders

    Eagles-maybe I like Foles

    Vikings

    Bucs

Panthers-maybe Cam would need to show me alot more maturity as I think he is headed down the V Young path, headcase I wouldn't want any part of.

    Cardinals

49ers-maybe Capaernick I'll take, Smith no

Rams-maybe, I actually like Bradford, but he hasn't taken that next step as a #1 should have by now.

    Seahawks-not sold on Wilson

So to me Fitz is middle of the road, not the best and not the worst. All this bellyaching about how horrible Fitz is, is hogwash at best.
