He’s pretty universally hated in Boston. They call him “Shank.” He’s all homer until the team has a bad stretch, then look out. I saw Sox fans stand and boo him when he appeared on the field during pregame at spring training. Beer was thrown (Not by me; Florida is hot and beer’s expensive).

No, I'm not MPL. Just someone who values community and civility a bit more than some. I think it makes us all look like losers when we snap at each other without great provocation. People say the most outrageous stuff online. I prefer to imagine we're all sitting in a bar in Buffalo, having a beer, eating some wings, talking about the Bills. Would you really spout off like you did in that situation?

Think of the 4-0, 5-1 start. If someone dared to bring up the lack of a running game how were they treated? If someone dared to bring up Dick's use of timeouts, challenges etc. how were they treated? If someone brought up the opponents the team built that record on how were they treated? If someone brought up the play of the LBs how were they treated? If someone brought up the pass rush how were they treated?

I have no desire to see Frost/Nixon & it's for a totally stupid reason. I just can't bear to listen to Frank Langella's impersonation of Nixon. It sounds so totally non-Nixonian to me that I can't bear to watch the film. IMO Langella should have gotten the mannerisms down and left it at that. I know it won't matter to the kiddies, but it bugs me.

Was watching the local news here in rochester last night and Peters also mentioned that he was, "...pretty sure bills fans don't even watch the tackle position. They only see the bad plays." I was a bit taken aback by this as most Bills fans I know are quite knowledgeable about each player/position and know how to watch individual positions during games. Maybe he's right though, maybe we all just go to the games, get drunk and scream at things we really have no clue about!
