What do you all think about Ali Highsmith as a depth LB and ST guy...I know his measurables are not great but seemed like he played well in the tough SEC.
-
You sure?
Yes...it says it in the PFW book...also that Malone did not have contact with him growing up...
-
Bell
Exciting raw talent with the size, athletic ability and rapid improvement to warrant the patience needed for development. Signed with Northwestern State on a basketball scholarship and has only played organized football since 2005. Originally played defensive end, but was quickly switched to left tackle and has developed into an All-American honoree. Raw as they come, but scouts love his upside.
Also sounds like he can use some time with NFL weight training...with coaching he could be a good back-up to Peters...based on his atheletic abiliity.

Bell is Karl Malone's son...good bloodlines...

I believe Jamey Richard from UB is still on the board for those thinking of centers

draft so far
1) - top corner in the draft
2) - giant WR with great speed for his size - major red zone headache for defenses
3) - pass rushing defensive end - plays viciously
4) - ball hawking corner
4) - safe TE pick - good blocker, great hands - should be an excellent checkdown man
5) - undersized linebacker who flies around like a maniac and is good in coverage - instant ST's contributor
Like how you positioned the draft...I agree and it looks good...and again it looks like ST is a big factor...they did loose a lot of core teamers...
-
He ranked 14 and 20 in the TE's in the two draft guides I have
But at least they are consistant in their analysis of him.......good hands....blocker....plays special teams. Kellen Davis looks like a beast so there is obviously something about him that is turning teams off.
Owen Smit next please
The problem with Davis is that he is on 18 months probation after being charged with aggraveted assault...otherwise your right he looks like what they need as an all around (developmental) TE...
Schmit would be a good pick here...
-
I agree...I'm sure ST is a big factor...I really was hoping for a more traditional sized TE insead of a specialist...he does sound alot like Shouman...or he could be moved to FB...
-
Is anyone else thinking Bills can use a "Change of pace/3rd Down Back"...bigger than and better than the Alabama guy who was here recently (forgot his name already)??
-
Let's hope so...Anderson has looked good in the past and Teyo certainly seems to have all the tools...
-
Or perhaps they just can't play.
And there are plenty of teams in the league that know how valuable a receiving TE can be. He doesn't have to start.
Right...use situationally and can then be coached up on blocking...
-
Just showed Rucker highlights on ESPN...he wouldhave looked good for the Bills IMO

reggie corner - cb akron

Take a schmidt! take a schmidt! take a schmidt!
Sorry guys.
Like Schmidt too...I'm just being greedy...
-
I like Kellen Davis here and hopefully can get the FB next pick...
