  1. I remember posting that I would be ok with Perry Fewell as HC, provided the front office was cleaned out and we got a new name GM, who would then hire a whole new scouting department. CG is our 4th head coach with a losing record, and management and scouting doesn't change. What does that tell you about where the problems lie?

  2. Hey, another Montana Bills' fan! I thought I was the only one.

Anyway, awesome to hear he was home. What kind of fundraiser was he doing and where?

He runs a football camp in Billings and he was raffling off bills shirts and helmets and promoting his camp,,,sounds like he plans to have 250 kids there from ages 10-14. You can go to dwanedwards.org for more information. It is non profit and he says he does it to give back to the community.

  3. Dwan Edwards was in Montana today (he is montana native) raising funds for his football camp next month. He was very gracious to everyone and seemed like everyday guy. He did say to expect the team to be better this year and that the defense will be much improved. Someone kidded him about playing in cold weather and he said no problem, he was looking forward to playing in buffalo.

Not a lot of Bills fans in montana, but a lot of Edwards fans and i expect a lot of montanans will be following the bills this year.

I took my grand kids to see him, but got to admit i was the one most excited about the visit!

  4. for you who critcize this post of course it is too early to tell completely. What i was driving at is that we have seen nix/gailey in action for pretty much a complete off season and we can sense the direction they are taking. While the final assessment naturally won't be for a couple of years, there is nothing wrong with getting a sense of how you were all feeling about the new regime.

For me I think these guys know what they are doing, and we will have to see how Troup, Easley etc turn out. But I like the fact they drafted heavily in both lines and linebackers. This team needed toughness and hopefully these guys will

    be able to provide it.

    my two cents

  5. Exactly. He's free to do what he wants, but if I were his agent I would strongly advise him to avoid controversey at all costs, especially before he's even been drafted. Beyond his football skills, part of what a team evaluates in a pick is how the player will fit in with the organization and the community as well as how much merchadising they can do with him (i.e. - will his jersey sell like hotcackes). Until you sign an NFL contract, shut up and do as little as possible to rock the boat - it can only cost you money....

perhaps he cares more about his faith than his money

  6. I too think Buddy is a breath of fresh air in many respects, but the bottom line for Buddy and the front office is spotting and bringing in talented players. The front office has been a failure the last nine years & if buddy can turn it around with talent laden drafts and shrewd free agent sigings we will move forward. If not, we will still stumble behind Pats jets fins

  7. I was trying to complete the defensive roster and have a couple missing:

Def. Line: Ron Mcdole, Tom Sestak, Jim Dunaway, Tom Day

Linebackers: John Tracy Mike Stratton Harry Jacobs

    Safeties: George Saimes ??????????

    Corners: Butch Byrd; Hagwood Clarke?

Also, on offense, who played guard besides Billy Shaw and who were the tackle

    thanks in advance,,,,,
