‘The wide receiver group has rotated so much with players playing with all three hits that it’s hard to put together a fair chart. For the most part, though, Kelvin Benjamin and Jeremy Kerley are constants, with plenty of others getting opportunities.’

‘Taking all of that in and looking at the big picture, it’s clear Allen is a legitimate option to become the team’s starter week one at the Baltimore Ravens. Of course there is still a long way to go and he hasn’t been perfect by any means, but to anyone watching practice, from fans in the stands to local or national media on the sidelines, there’s no doubting who the most naturally gifted QB is on the field every day.’

‘”There is a buy in that’s important. For a new coach, new teacher, new whatever. Winning early was big, starting off 5-2. At the end of the day, you hope the buy in comes.”‘

‘Working exclusively with the third team offense any time it was offense versus defense, Allen even showed off a very nice play-fake, then floated a pass to a wide open Patrick DiMarco as the fullback was headed up the right sideline. After the play, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll had a big smile on his face and he and his QB exchanged fist pumps.’

‘”We’re not thinking hypotheticals. LeSean is here, we’re focused on him being here. We feel comfortable that LeSean is going to be here and ready to roll. We don’t see that changing.””

‘Darkwa has spent most of his career with the New York Giants, seeing his most significant playing time last season. Starting in 11-games, Darkwa rushed for 751 yards and five touchdowns. He added 19 receptions for 116 yards in the pass game. Described as a good between the tackles back, Darkwa has shown so far in his career that he’s more balanced than once thought. While not overly dangerous as a receiver, he certainly can give you something in the pass game.’

‘The Bills’ players and staff will report to training camp on Wednesday, with the first practice taking place on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.’

‘His absence from training camp may pose as a serious chance for fellow wide receiver Brandon Reilly to attain some serious looks from the coaching staff.’

‘Buffalo is waiting on McCoy’s off-field issue to be finished in its investigation, with nothing new coming to the front as of yet. McCoy has reported to training camp and will practice as usual. McCoy will be relied upon in order to aid a Bills offense that has major questions in the passing game. If McCoy is suspended by the NFL (players have sometimes been handed suspensions despite no wrongdoing in a court of law), the Bills would need to rely on Ivory and Cadet to keep the running game afloat.’

‘The Bills only have one player left to be signed before the start of the season. That player is 2018 first round quarterback, Josh Allen.’

‘We all know that his arm is plenty strong enough to play in the NFL, but is he able to show enough accuracy, poise in the pocket, and consistency to be in the conversation to play sooner rather than later?’

‘”The Bills had some pretty good luck, I just can’t see them getting the break they did last year, this year.”‘

‘Whether the Bills will be run heavy or more aggressive in the passing game, how will the offensive line hold up and who are the five starters? Right now left tackle Dion Dawkins is the only guy you can write down in ink. The other four spots look like they are wide open.’

‘As for the tight ends, Charles Clay remains a steady starter at the position, with depth coming in Nick O’Leary and Logan Thomas. Clay was second on the team with 49 catches and led the team with 558 yards. O’Leary has become a solid second tight end, quietly fourth on the team in yards last year with 322 yards on 22 catches. Thomas, a converted quarterback, will battle with Khari Lee and Jason Croom for the third spot.’

‘There was some question as to whether or not McCoy would be at training camp on time for the Bills as he is a possible subject of an investigation of a targeted home invasion involving his former ex-girlfriend at a house he owns in Georgia. McCoy was in Florida at the time of the home invasion, but there were some thoughts that the NFL might put McCoy on the commissioner’s exempt list while the league’s investigation continues. The Bills have also said they are looking into the matter.’
