‘As has been the case in almost every game this season, Allen was in complete command and control of the Bills offense. Like he did one week earlier against the Los Angeles Rams, Allen orchestrated scoring drive after scoring drive, and continually frustrated the opposing defense by making plays with his right arm and his legs.’

‘No doubt a lot was circumstantial due to the score, and a great majority of it came in the second half, but the Bills defense still gave up close to 500 yards passing!’

‘Long before the Super Bowl, though, teams like the Bills are doing all they can to improve their postseason seeds, to have the clearest possible path. The Bills won the AFC East weeks ago, and they still have a chance to secure home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs, but Buffalo would need to catch some breaks, and get some help elsewhere.’

‘The Bills were out-muscled up-front in L.A. They didn’t run the ball well enough and certainly didn’t control the line of scrimmage from the defensive side. That has to change Sunday against one of the more physical teams in the NFL.’

‘McDermott’s defenses have been so good and consistent over seven years, he deserves the benefit of the doubt to say it was just a bad day. However, the numbers say the Bills could have more problems ahead.’

‘The NFC North-leading Detroit Lions are 12-1. The last and only loss this season came way back in Week 2 when Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers left the “Motor City” with a 20-16 victory. The 16 points were/are a season-low, and that is the only game this season where the Lions were held under 20 points.’
