‘“Sean stood up there and he owned the Tyrod decision,” recalled general manager Brandon Beane. “Now, he didn’t just do that decision; he didn’t just off on a whim do that. There was a lot of in-house conversations about positives, negatives, understanding this is the quarterback, this is not easy, and you’re putting in a rookie. But at the end of the day, he went in there and he owned it to the team.”’

‘The dispatch report provides some more detail about the night of the robbery and assault of McCoy’s girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, at the home the two shared in Milton Georgia. Cordon’s two children from another relationship also lived there. As well, reports show, there had been previous domestic calls to the home.’

‘”He took a diamond bracelet off my wrist,” Cordon said. “He just kept asking for jewelry. I think it has something to do with my ex-boyfriend.”’

‘Friends of Cordon have alleged on social media that McCoy, a running back for the Buffalo Bills, was involved in the attack. One Cordon friend alleged that McCoy, who was not in Georgia, hired others to break in.’

‘Police in Milton, Georgia, the Atlanta suburb where McCoy and Cordon lived, said in a statement Tuesday afternoon that it had answered a call at 3:18 a.m. Tuesday morning at a home on McCoy’s street. There, police found one female victim “assaulted by a lone intruder” and another who suffered “a minor injury.” The first victim was treated and released from the hospital.’

‘In reality, that’s when the Bills should be looking for Allen to be the man. The blueprint to be followed was the Rams’ timetable for Jared Goff. He became the starter late in his 2016 rookie year with the Rams going nowhere, endured some massive struggles, but got much of that out of the way and had a very nice 2017 season.’

‘“I’ve never had my job on the line,” Lawson said recently. “I just want to get better every day, talk to the coaches every day, do what I need to do to get better. It’s stuff I didn’t do my first two years, asking the coaches for extra help and stuff like that. So I’m staying on top of it, staying after practice and working extra on my game.”’
