'Interestingly, the Bills played well without Dareus and Glenn. On defense, the Bills limited Denver to one touchdown and 16 points, and Adolphus Washington and Cedric Thornton shared the reps and combined for four tackles. If Dareus can't play, the Bills will have another option inside as defensive tackle Jerel Worthy is now officially out of concussion protocol and was back at practice in full for the first time this season.'

'For some reason, McDermott elected to cover Falcons two-time All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones with a single player last season. Jones ravaged the man-to-man coverage, catching 12 passes for a team-record 300 yards and a touchdown in the 48-33 plastering of the Panthers on Oct. 2.'

'A solid defense alone will not be enough for the Buffalo to win. McDermott's club will need to improve upon its season-to-date rankings in points per game (16.7, No. 25 in the NFL) and yards per game (285.3, No. 26).'

'"Like I texted him, he said some things to the media that he probably could have said to me," McCoy said. "But his opinion, it really doesn't matter to me. I like Jim Kelly. He texts me and I just told him, 'Hey, you're human.' People have their own opinions. What you said, you don't have to apologize for it. I don't think you're wrong. That's how he felt. I understand. You're human and I told him exactly, 'My respect for you, it hasn't changed. It's still very high.' He's a hell of a player and I respected him when I met him, and even the relationship I have so far. So it didn't affect me at all."'

'Certainly the Falcons' offense will come out flying (no pun intended) against the Bills on Sunday, but Buffalo's defense has only allowed 37 points in their three games and has yet to give up a touchdown through the air.'

'In the team’s 26-16 win over the Denver Broncos, Hauschka connected on field goals of 27, 49, 53, and 55-yards, plus a pair of extra points. He also put five of seven kickoffs in the end zone. Three of those went for touchbacks. He became the first kicker in Bills history to hit two field goals of 53 yards or longer in the same game.'

'I was extremely hurt, to be honest. Because at first, everybody has their own opinions like I talked about. 'The four-year veteran is expected to play a key role in Buffalo’s defensive tackle rotation after putting together a strong preseason. With Marcell Dareus still on the mend from an ankle injury suffered in Week 2, Worthy is expected to be dressed for Sunday’s game as one of the team’s four healthy defensive tackles.'

'“It felt great,” said Hauschka of his swing last Sunday. “The ball was flying well. It was above 80 degrees. It’s like this a lot in Buffalo right? The ball was flying well and feeling good mentally, physically and it was just nice for things to come together.”'
