'This was the type of game plan we’ve been waiting to see from Rick Dennison, one that actually highlights Taylor’s skill-set. The more he’s moving, and the more he rolls out, the more comfortable he seems and the easier it is for him to see more of the field. This was a great step in the right direction, and that drive was all the Bills needed (along with some defensive stops down the stretch) to take the lead for good.'

'In addition to McCoy, among those that chose to kneel were Marcell Dareus, Shaq Lawson, Ryan Davis, Lorenzo Alexander, Jordan Matthews, Shareece Wright, and Mike Tolbert among others. Ahead of the game, Tolbert showed his thoughts on the matter in the workout shirt he chose to wear during pregame.'

'I can’t stand and support something where our leader of this country is just acting like a jerk. You know… angry, upset about NFL players protesting in a peaceful manner. A lot of people go to different areas and subjects but, in this country a lot of different things are going on where people are protesting in a violent way. If a guy wants to take a knee or express himself in a different manner… he has that right. The biggest thing is that it’s in a peaceful manner. You know, that really bothered me. I think us as a group, as a team, we wanted to display that, hey, we come together as a team and show to the world that no matter how different each other, person are, we can come together.'

'While the LeSean McCoy and the rest of the back field were limited — rushing for only 75 yards –Taylor finished the day 20 for 26 for 213 yards and two touchdowns.'

'Some players and coaches locked arms in a show of solidarity.'

'“The flag, it means a lot to me and my teammates,” running back LeSean McCoy after the game while speaking with reporters. “I was very bothered by the comments of our president of this country. As the president you’re supposed to bring us together. I can’t stand or support something when our leader of this country is acting like a jerk.”'

'Though he was sacked four times and didn't rack up huge chunks of yards, Taylor was highly efficient under center, completing 20 of 26 pass attempts for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Taylor also rushed for 13 yards and picked up a crucial first down during the Bills final scoring drive.'

'"I'm always on the rookies and all the young guys [about" target="_blank"> being smart and doing this and doing that," Miller said. "Then, I go out there and do something like that, in a crucial situation in the game. It hits you in the stomach."'

'“He carried us today,’’ McCoy said of Taylor. “Let’s be clear about that. … I am very confident in putting the ball in Number Five’s hands and letting him lead us.”'

'The meeting was described as open, full of love. It's something the Bills think will bring them closer together and not just for one game.'

'This was one of the biggest, and most fun victories for the Bills in a long time. They came in against a red hot Broncos team and took it to them in the second half. The made the adjustments they needed to at halftime to get the edge and a big victory. One thing is certain under Sean McDermott, they will play hard, aggressive football and not give up.'

'Tyrod Taylor was solid throughout as he had an efficient game against a great defensive despite not having a good running attack. He completed 20 of his 26 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Grade A.'

'Buffalo’s defense wasn’t dominant, but certainly effective, registering a pair of second-half interceptions by EJ Gaines and Tre’Davious White. Their special teams also thwarted a fourth-down fake punt to force a turnover on downs.'

'“We were able to do a couple of different things in the passing game,” said Taylor. “We used some crossing routes because we knew they were a man team. We even got on the edge with our keepers. I think it was good that we mixed up different protections to try to calm down (Von Miller) and not let him rush free. Ultimately the guys went out and took the challenge on the outside and were able to make some plays and I’m proud of those guys.”'
