'There’s a meeting with the Carolina Panthers five days from now in Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium. Yeah, that team, which made the Super Bowl two years ago and opened the season with a less-than-impressive 23-3 road win over the 49ers.'

'"From our perspective, it really wasn't a limited role," defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier said Monday. "He did exactly what the game plan required. We wanted to keep our guys fresh and have a rotation system. Mike Waufle, or defensive line coach, does a great job in rotating players and keeping them fresh.'

'“He’s a multi-Pro Bowl, All-Pro back for a reason,” he said after McCoy’s 159 yards from scrimmage paced the Bills to a 21-12 win over the Jets Sunday and first place in the AFC East standings. “I’m not the same type of athlete. I’m a downhill type of athlete.'

'“There’s been a bad stigma around this organization for a long time,” said fullback Mike Tolbert. “And Coach McDermott is trying to change the narrative, the way people see us, what people think about us.'

'Bills head coach Sean McDermott joined Mike Schopp and The Bulldog as part of Football Monday on WGR-550 AM on Monday. After some technical difficulties, McDermott talked about his first game, the preparation that went into it and feeling good going into Sunday. He then chatted about visiting the tailgating RVs and feeling a bit jealous he couldn't stay longer with the fans.'

'Wood went into the mechanics of why he went for the ball on the live play, working through fatigue on the 14 play drive prior to the interception and his pride that his teammates stood up for him during the scrum. The hosts also chatted about how much new head coach Sean McDermott (who will appear after Wood in his weekly spot) appreciated the hustle and effort on the play.'

'Against the Jets, Taylor's Adjusted Completion Percentage was 81.0%, the fifth-highest of all quarterback's who've already played in Week One. PFF counted one drop, four throwaways, two batted passes, and one instance in which Taylor was hit as he threw the football.'

'Tyrod Taylor looked much better in the "real offense," as opposed to the "preseason offense." It was a typical, effective Taylor game on a day when McCoy was driving the offensive bus. Taylor was decisive when his first option was open, which happened early on over-the middle throws to Charles Clay for 13 and Zay Jones on a sharp slant for 21.'
