'Low-scoring teams, maybe lowest ever: On paper, both teams actually aren’t the worst on defense. Both have strong players on the defensive line and that group appears to be the stronger side of the ball. Could that make this the lowest scoring Bills – Jets game in history? Maybe. The number to beat is 15. On Nov. 20, 1988, the Bills topped the Jets 9-6 in overtime on a Scott Norwood 30-yard field goal. On three different occasions in, 1970, 1973, and 2007, the two teams combined for 16 points. In 1966, they combined for 17. And good news, the Bills won them all.'

'Williams is the longest-tenured player on the roster going into his twelfth year with the team. Alexander is going into his eleventh season in the NFL and second with the Bills. They are the oldest players on the roster at 34 (Richie Incognito is also 34, one month younger than Williams, who is one month younger than Alexander).'

'This is the best thing for all parties, even though that there was a contingent of the fan base that was hoping to see Nathan Peterman play. The Bills want to see if Tyrod Taylor can be the leader of the team and the franchise quarterback moving forward.'

'Now, I don’t know about you, but that reads like a head coach that knows what they have in McCoy — and more importantly — knows what’s behind McCoy, too. I think McCoy is poised to have a huge workload going into the season both on the ground and through the air. He’s as explosive a runner as you’ll find in the NFL, but now, the worry will be keeping him fresh and healthy through the entirety of the season with as big of a workload as he’ll have. It will be a delicate balancing act for Sean McDermott and company.'
