Hill: Spare me your outrage and maybe spare Bills reporter’s job
‘Someone was recording and decided to put it out, leaving two people in a very uncomfortable situation. Diggs could have shut it down by saying they were friends and he knew she was joking, but he didn’t. He said he was troubled by the situation, which is completely within his rights. Glab issued what seemed to be a genuine apology.’

If Josh Allen doesn't play 'smarter football,' Bills are destined to underachieve
‘Eighty-four. That’s the number attached to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen that resonates. No, that’s not the total of TV commercials the much-hyped Allen is appearing in these days. It’s the 84 turnovers Allen has committed since entering the NFL in 2018 – and it’s the highest figure of any player during that span.’
What channel is Raiders vs. Bills on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 2 game
‘Despite a misstep in Week 1, all of Buffalo’s goals to be a contender remain in sight.’
Simon: What I'm watching for when the Bills host the Raiders
‘I’ll start with the offense which definitely had a two tight end personality to it in the opener. The Bills had both Dawson Knox and first round pick Dalton Kincaid on the field at the same time for the majority of the offensive snaps. According to the Buffalo News the Bills used two tight ends 66% of the time. Last season the Bills had the lowest 12 personnel percentage in the NFL. Knox was on the field for 84% of the snaps and Kincaid was at 80%. They combined for just 51 yards receiving and seven catches so I’m sure the team would like to see more production from that duo.’
Opinion: What to watch for: Raiders at Bills
‘Speaking of receivers, the speed the Bills added with the signing of Deonte Harty was not on display in Week 1. Harty had three catches for a measly nine yards. The three throws were either behind or right around the line of scrimmage, and there was next-to-nothing in yards-after-catch.’
Opinion: Capaccio: Raiders At Bills: Sal's keys, notes and stats
‘Bills quarterback Josh Allen has to be better. It’s as simple as that. In the team’s opening week loss at the New York Jets, Allen threw three interceptions and fumbled the ball away once. It was not a good performance. The Raiders will look to capitalize on any Allen mistake – or bad decision. He can’t let that happen and needs to take care of the football much, much better.’
Bills look to bounce back in home opener against Raiders
‘The matchup will feature two of the best receivers in the NFL, with Diggs on one sideline, and Raiders WR Davante Adams, who was an AP All-Pro each of the past three seasons, on the other.’
Bills home opener: Here's what you need to know for Sunday
‘New this year, part of lot 4 is closed, and lot 3, which is normally the employee lot, is now open to the public. The RV lot is also closed.’
Carucci Take 2: Josh Allen, Bills will lean on history of rebounding to right the ship vs. Raiders
‘Assuming he’ll bounce back from his four-turnover disaster would be easier had Allen not looked so ordinary/mediocre/poor through the second half of last season and especially in the playoffs. His 32 interceptions since 2021 are the most in the NFL, and he also leads the league with 84 giveaways since his rookie season in 2018. What he showed Monday night can fairly be seen as more of a trend than an aberration.’
Thad’s Three Things: Bills vs. Raiders
‘The only real worry for the Bills when they have the ball is edge rusher Maxx Crosby.’
Bills vs Raiders Sunday on WROC
‘The Bills vs Raiders are game one of a doubleheader on WROC and CBS. At 4:25 p.m., the Jets are back, this time visiting the Cowboys, who had a big win of their own in week one, destroying the Giants 40-0.’
What to watch for: Bills home opener against the Raiders in Week 2
‘This Bills team knows how they looked against the Jets, and they just want to make sure that one loss doesn’t turn into two.’
