Bills QB Losman takes first step in rehab on crutches

”’This is my first day out. It feels good,” said Losman, who is now wearing a protective boot that covers his lower left leg. ”I wanted to see the guys. And it’s good for everyone to see me. I’m glad to see them. It’s good to feel like part of the team again.”’

Practice Squad Proves Beneficial for Team

‘"The only difference is that you’re not active during the game," said linebacker Mario Haggan, a former Practice Squad player. "You’re basically still learning the system. Bills Team Report

‘Matthews’ good showing in the final exhibition game might have convinced the team it could live with two healthy passers, which made Brown expendable. Matthews doesn’t have a strong arm, but he is accurate and usually makes good decisions. He also gives the team a backup with experience as a starter; neither Losman nor Brown has started an NFL game.’
