‘Allen went 0 for 7 on his first seven passes against Chiefs blitzes. They sent big blitzes at Allen on three consecutive plays from the 3-yard line to get a turnover on downs midway through the second quarter.’

Bills 24, Chiefs 20: Top plays, standout players, key statistics
‘Stefon Diggs. He caught 10 passes for 148 yards, matching his season high for yardage and going over 100 for the third game. He caught a 17-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter and three catches for 24 yards on the game-winning drive.’
Report Card: Run game shines early, passing attack stars late in Bills' win over Chiefs
‘Were there a few things to nitpick? Sure. If Ken Dorsey called it, the failed play to McKenzie in the red zone on the first drive was no time to get cute. The Bills also threw the ball three consecutive times from the 3-yard in the first half after continually picking up big chunks of yards on the ground. That led to fans clamoring for, of all things, more runs. The Bills failed on a fourth-and-goal from the 3-yard line – that came after a failed third-and-1 play – so short-yardage situations have continued to be a trouble spot. The Chiefs being able to squeeze three points in before halftime on a possession that started with just 16 seconds left in the second quarter was maddening. There will always be things to second-guess after a game, though. It’s necessary to keep the big picture in perspective here, though. The Bills just went to their biggest rival, and came away with a come-from-behind victory that puts them in the top spot in the AFC at their bye week. They got the job done when it mattered most. Credit Sean McDermott and his staff for putting his players in good spots to do just that.’
Bills' Jordan Poyer takes car service to Kansas City and back after not being cleared to fly
‘While Poyer returned to practice this past week and was cleared to play, he was unable to fly as he heals from a pneumothorax, a league source told The Buffalo News. A pneumothorax is a collapsed lung and could have been impacted by the air pressure changes required for flying.’
Josh Allen leads winning drive, Bills pick off nemesis Patrick Mahomes to seal revenge win
‘Talk about sweet redemption for the Bills.’
Bills get redemption against Chiefs with better quarterback and Von Miller's impact
‘I’ll say this: The Chiefs are a great team and not every call is going to work. In the end, the Bills won the game. Their coaches made enough proper decisions to put the players into position to make winning plays.’
Netflix and Thrill: How the Dream Team helped Stefon Diggs, Bills defeat Chiefs
‘The Bills knew they were in for a fight against the Chiefs, who had won three of the last four matchups against the Bills – including the last two times the teams played in the playoffs. On Sunday, Diggs and his Buffalo teammates went back into Arrowhead Stadium with a reinvigorated fighting spirit, executed late in the fourth quarter on both sides of the ball, and beat the Chiefs, 24-20, in another thriller that came down to the final minute of the game.’
Bills’ Von Miller shares mood following win over Chiefs
‘Following his biggest win to date as a member of the Buffalo Bills, pass rusher Von Miller said he channeled his inner-Bruce Smith. On social media, Miller shared a picture of the Bills’ all-time sack leader with the caption, “MOOD!!!”’
Rules expert: Bills’ Josh Allen has right to be upset after refs bungled call vs. Chiefs
‘Down 20-17 with less than nine minutes remaining in the game, Josh Allen and the Bills offense faced a 3rd and 10 play at their own 35 yard line. Allen dropped back to throw and looked as though he was rolling away from pressure when he fell to the ground. Allen had been tripped by Chris Jones and it was pretty blatant. The Chiefs’ defensive tackle extended his leg toward Allen to take him down. Allen popped up quickly and immediately got in the officials face calling for a flag.’
Again?! Bills can’t stop Chiefs with 16 seconds left either, apparently
‘Patrick Mahomes completed a 19-yard throw to Jerick McKinnon, who got out of bounds with five seconds left. Then he went back to old faithful, tight end Travis Kelce, on a quick throw on a short burst over the middle that looked almost identical to the same play in the fourth quarter last season in the divisional round playoff game.’
Taron Johnson plays hero as Bills & Chiefs put on another instant classic (Report card)
‘Taron Johnson played the role of hero in the game with an interception that sealed things. He had a tough matchup and finished with six total tackles and one pass defensed.’
Five Takeaways: Stars shine brightly as Bills, Allen outlast rival Chiefs, Mahomes in AFC showdown
‘Sunday’s game lived up to its billing, proving to be the heavyweight fight everyone expected. Allen and Mahomes traded blows throughout a back-and-forth affair, with Allen delivering the haymaker on his touchdown throw to Knox, which allowed the defense to finish the job with Johnson’s clutch interception.’
Sullivan: Bills' offseason investment pays dividends in important win over Chiefs
‘Granted, there’s a lot of football left to be played. But after Sunday’s win, there was an unmistakable feeling that the Bills would achieve what they desperately missed a season ago, the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage through the AFC playoffs.’
Sabato: Von Miller, Bills defense show they can be closers in clutch moments
‘But here are the stats that matter: nine quarterback hits, three sacks, three punts, two interceptions and a missed field goal. Most importantly, Frazier’s defense came up big on the final two possessions, in situations it has too often wilted in the past.’
NFL Sunday takeaways: This time, Josh Allen and the Bills don’t blink in winning at K.C.
‘Because the Bills defence in 2022 is even more improved than the Chiefs’ is.’
