But it was better than scrolling through all the hot take artists we normally allow to pollute our timelines.’

‘“Worry for the kid, having been in a similar circumstance” was Pronger’s immediate reaction, he said in a telephone interview from St. Louis, where he lives. “You see the video footage of him with his mom and family prior to the game, and you just feel for everybody involved. Obviously it takes you back — my parents were at the game that I went down in, too, so there were a lot of similarities that came back.”’

‘The Bills said in a statement that the progress was “noted” Tuesday and overnight, adding, “He is expected to remain under intensive care as his health care team continues to monitor and treat him.”’

‘“Per Jordon and Damar’s family, doctors overnight got promising readings that they had been hoping to see by this morning. Jordon couldn’t go into specifics, but progress appears to be made,” Harvey wrote on Twitter, adding that Hamlin remains sedated and in critical condition in the ICU at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.’

‘Hamlin’s uncle, Dorrian Glenn, told CNN on Tuesday his nephew’s use of a ventilator was down from 100 percent to 50 percent, but specifics were less tangible a day later.’

‘Mario Hamlin “informed the Bills that Damar was making progress” after he suffered cardiac arrest during Monday’s game in Cincinnati, with a source telling ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday, “The team needed it.”’
