‘Offensive tackle Dion Dawkins and linebacker Matt Milano could also create some very nice space, about $12 million combined, but restructuring their deals would prove costly in 2025. That’s because while both players are signed only through 2024, each has two void years attached to their current contracts beyond 2024.’

What will Buffalo Bills do in 2023 free agency? 5 ideas we like; 5 ideas we don’t
‘The Bills already have nine players under contract with cap hits north of $10 million next season. Edmunds could get an average annual salary of $20 million if the right team valued his age and position. It feels like the Bills just don’t have the room or the space to be that team.’
How Stefon Diggs has made a lasting impact on several NFL prospects
‘”I reached out to him during my process of picking Maryland,” Jarrett shared. “He said it was a good decision for him and what he wanted to do, and it worked out for him. I just took the advice and kind of implemented it into what I wanted to do.”‘

A trade for Henry would benefit Bills
‘To be sure, he’s 29 years old, elderly for an NFL running back. But, at 6-foot-3, 247 pounds, Henry is a beast, dominating in short-yardage and with exceptional speed for a back his size.’
Ryan O'Halloran: Five free agents whose additions would help the Bills
‘If the Bills want to go the route of taking one big swing to represent their entire business, signing Powers to play left guard would qualify. Spotrac projects him signing a three-year contract averaging $9.4 million. He is nine years younger than Rodger Saffold (also a free agent) and adding him for multiple years would create continuity.’
Odds have the Bills as favorite landing spot for Derrick Henry in a trade – but is that a wise bet?
‘No. 1 is his contract. Henry is due a $10.5 million base salary in 2023, which is the final year of his deal. Any team acquiring him in a trade would be on the hook for that amount against the 2023 salary cap, unless it worked out a contract extension that lowered that amount. The Bills are currently over the 2023 salary cap, and have significant work to do to just get under the cap. Taking on a contract such as Henry’s without significantly reworking it might not even be possible.’
Buffalo Bills 7-round 2023 mock draft: Playmaker and protection are on the way for Josh Allen
‘While Beane deserves plenty of credit for building the Buffalo Bills’ roster into a legitimate Super Bowl contender, the team’s draft classes have been lacking in terms of immediate production. While starting jobs are limited in Buffalo, the Bills need to do a better job of adding players who can make some sort of impact sooner rather than later. Look no further than the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2022 draft. The Chiefs had multiple rookies play key roles in their Super Bowl championship season.’
Jordan Poyer’s model wife, Rachel Bush, gets candid in Q&A before NFL free agency
‘Bush has been one of the Bills’ biggest cheerleaders in recent years, attending games both at home and on the road.’
Opinion: 2023 State of the Bills: Tight end
‘The only player on this entire list that’s certain to be on the roster on opening day is Knox, who signed a four-year, $52 million contract extension last offseason, including $31.2 million guaranteed. That extension kicks in this year, so Knox is in the fold for four more seasons.’

Mock Draft I: Bills add another weapon for Josh Allen at No. 27 overall
’27. Buffalo Bills. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State. A 6-foot-1, 196-pounder, Smith-Njigba was named to NFL Network’s all-combine team. “Smith-Njigba’s excellent combine performance won’t come as a surprise to anyone who followed his career at Ohio State,” wrote Around the NFL’s Nick Shook. “He was clean, controlled and smooth throughout all of the drills at Lucas Oil Stadium, running crisp routes and making many of his catches look routine.” Smith-Njigba mostly played slot receiver for the Buckeyes, but according to NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, he has the capability to play outside, as well. He’s a bit of a tough projection because he missed all but three games in 2022 due to a hamstring injury, but he produced at a big-time level in 2021 with first-round picks Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave. Known as a strong route runner with good hands who does his best work in the middle of the field, Smith-Njigba would be an intriguing add for Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense.’
Who will Bills take in first round of NFL Draft 2023? Here are picks from experts
‘We’ll see next week how this changes when free agency begins, but if the draft were to be held Tuesday, the Bills need to add at wide receiver, offensive line, and safety, and that would be the order I would make picks in the first three rounds.’
Titans shopping Derrick Henry. Will Buffalo Bills pursue RB? Here’s what report says
‘Devin Singletary is set to hit free agency in a little over one week leaving Buffalo with James Cook and Nyheim Hines as their top two backs. Adding Henry to the backfield would almost be unfair. With a top back like Henry, opposing defenses would be forced to respect the Bills’ run game which would open things up for Josh Allen in the passing game.’
Mock Draft Monday 4.0: Post-Combine mock draft roundup for Buffalo Bills
‘Not all mock drafts went with Robinson, however. Two draft analysts had Buffalo addressing their offensive line in the first round. Following the combine, here is who draft analysts see Buffalo taking in Round 1.’
How Bills can stay on Super Bowl track despite being over the cap
‘Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds: This dude is going to get paid this offseason, perhaps in the neighborhood of $12 million to $15 million per year. The 24-year-old Edmunds makes a ton of sense for the Bills to retain, even if it’s part of what puts them over the cap again in 2024. Edmunds and Matt Milano are keys to this defense, and I’m sure the Bills realize that. But if the financials are too challenging to determine — especially if Buffalo wants to add a receiver — then Edmunds seems like an obvious candidate to hit the open market and find a new team.’
NFL prospects have high regards for Buffalo Bills' 2022 rookie class
‘”Play for that offense and with Cook again, it would be an honor. I know that team is special. They got great caliber athletes, great guys. But just to be reunited with a Georgia player if it’s Cook or if it’s no Georgia players or whatever it may be, that’s whatever the future holds,” he said.’
