Well That Didn't Last Long.

Since the Jets acquired Edwards they are 1-2 With two division losses and their star reciever has been chared with assult.

Cleveland has only thrown for over 100 yards once since his departure. That game they threw for 106.

Maybe the Jets don't get the stimulated offensive attack they had wish, but the Browns are definitely losers in this trade.

Quick math tells me that they went from 173yds/game to 69 yrds/game in the air. In other-words, Edwards' presence alone contributed in more than doubling their offensive production.

My math says that sitting on the bench gets them zero yards. I would bet dollars to donuts that he sits a couple of games this year.

From our buddy TG

Cleveland city prosecutor Victor Perez filed the charge Monday. It carries a maximum sentence of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

I wonder how long this suspension will cost him. Well it looks like Cleveland is getting the better of this deal.

This incident happened BEFORE the trade to the Jets. As a matter of fact its one of the reasons Cleveland decided to get rid of him.

Do you actually believe the Jets were not aware of this incident before the trade? B-)

Are you for real??

This is old news for the Jets. They absolutely knew (as did anyone who can read or watch TV) that this was coming.

He sits a few games and then comes back.

The Browns will suck for every remaining game.

Edwards is not the first athlete to be shipped out of town after crossing a town's superstar. But he must be the first guy ever traded because of a conflict with a superstar on a different team and in a different league.

Edwards got into a fight with a friend of Lebron James on 10/5, after which James calls Edwards "childish" in the press. 2 days later B.E. is a Jet.

It worked out very well for Edwards.

James will soon be joining him in NY.
