afrodziak Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 oh yeah bigtime. it throws off the consistencey of the offense. it puts more pressure on an already mediocre run game to perform and it extends the time our defense is on the field. not to mention the fact that every single player is in the mindset of there first string quarterback being hurt. Does the defense suck today, you bet your ass it does, but a big part of that is because the offense(while good) has not had a drive of over 5 plays. our defense sucks because it is sucking wind. Thats mostly BS. i mean they are sucking wind because they arent stopping the other team. most of the problem is them since they never even stopped them at all in the first half from the BEGINNING of the game - how can them being tired have anything to do with the inept offense in the 1st quarter? No, Trent being in this game would not have made ANY difference. they have 41 points and 14 or 17 are from turnovers, but the rest are straight up against our defense. If you believe this had anything to do with JP than you should try watching soccer, there is nothing to it.
