Welp, our winning performance vs the Chargers came with a distinct paper mill odor. 🤢 Escaping a 5 turnover disaster is the rarest method to victory. But we DID! I just hoped we learned that ‘San Diego’ taught the league how to corral Allen and our Offense, as we can surely anticipate the blanket coverage that takes Shakir out of the gameplan again! * Poor passing and blocking with turnovers all day turned an expected rout into an uncomfortably very close contest! Even rarer than that poor offensive showing was the noticeable performance of our young Defense. Very tough against the run and much needed true pass rush! CJGJ’s fabulous goal line interception and long return set up our game winning drive! WHEW!😰

The *Cover 6 is the newest defensive wrinkle in football. In essence, it combats multiple TE sets and takes away middle field receivers running wild while thwarting a scrambling QB.

‘Splain it to me, Lucy ‘

It gave Josh fits last week for the most part though he managed to find cracks late enough to rescue victory.

On to today, our 1st Division game against the defending Division Champs New England Patriots*.  Their notorious cheating antics still continue. The blame for this League anomaly falls squarely on their owner Robert Kraft, who never met a cheating opportunity he didn’t like. Most of us believe they were simply lucky to have such an easy schedule last year which foolishly catapulted Drake Maye to top QB status. No one here believed it and the proof is in this season’s early performance. But their early season, last second win last September at home had us chasing ghosts all season and we didn’t recover as we watched them from the couch reach the Super Bowl..🤬 They’re down to their 3rd string RG through injuries as well as their starting WR and RT along with DT Christian Barmore. It should mean feast time for our DTs! Dwayne Carter’s return is becoming noteworthy. Keep an eye on him.

The Walker/Groot combo has become a nightmare for opposition Offensive Line’s from Leonard’s new Defense! Ed O, Chubb.

and Hoeght are also playing exceptionally! Cover 1 explains it perfectly. GROOOT won NFLPOTM for September! BRAVO, Gregg!

Is Benford the next Wally Pipp? Now hobbled by an injured toe, he’s been a shell of his former self so far while (Iggy) rookie Davison Igbinosun shined replacing him last week!

*Weekly Josh Allen record smashing update: Allen is now one of just four players in NFL history with at least six rushing touchdowns in nine consecutive seasons, joining Hall of Fame RUNNING BACKS Jim Brown, Marshall Faulk, and LaDainian Tomlinson. Lastly, Allen tied Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas for the most non-passing touchdowns in franchise history with 87.

There need be no further reason to be concerned about this Division tilt than losing to them at home this time last year. We definitely took them for granted and they STOLE the Division title from us as a result! No feeling sorry for them,  nor NOT give ultimate effort today! Score early and often and let our Defense try to steal the thunder from our O if they can! We were right here last year where a win would really position us for post season possibilities! 4 of our next 6 games are on the road, so finish this new stadium start with the DUB!

May we never see the White Out uni again!😉

Wally Pipp an obscure Baseball player from the 1920"s had to Google him to know what you meant , well done.

Yes, obscure, the intention is Lou Gerhig started in his place and never surrendered his game starts until the disease afflicted him -which is referred to today as Lou Gehrig disease. Hall Of Famer!

Gonna be a fun day. Friends coming over to watch the game; a couple of them Pats*** fans. They don’t know what they’re in for but I’ve got two Bills flags hanging out front and an inflatable Bills helmet in the yard. After the game we’re all going to a Weezer concert, which should be a blast.

Today the Bills send a message to the Pats*** that 2025 was a fairy tale - a blip on the timeline - and this division is ours.

No mercy, sweep the leg, finish him - whatever it takes, send these Massholes home with their tails between their legs.

Let’s Go, Buffalo!  20 and 0, BABYYYYYYY!!!!!

On the way to the orchard park. Excited for my first game in the new stadium. Go Bills!

My family went last week and it is awesome. Wish we were there again today as the entire scene should be great. Love the anticipation as you get closer to the stadium and see the throngs of Bills fans.
