If the Patriots run it 40 times the Bills probably lose the game.

The Pats* run game sucks. Their run D also sucks Our run D seems much improved. If we can’t stop their run it’s because the D line is getting outplayed/muscled which would be a shame. We should feature James then work the play action / deeper shots since Gonzalez is out. It all starts with the run though. If Brady had ran the ball more in the first half against the Chargers that game is a laugher. Instead it was a somewhat arrogant decision that “Our offense will dictate to you what we do” instead of exploiting the weaknesses of their defensive strategy. Hopefully it was a learning experience.

Do Gonzalez and Barmore being out make things more difficult for the Pats***? Of course. But the Bills should expect their backups to play just as well.

 

How this game flows is really all about the first quarter. If the Bills win the toss I’d like to see Brady take the ball again and try to get out in front.

 

 

At first, I liked the idea of the aggressive approach taking the ball first. But play D first, 3 and out and stomp them. I love the score at end of half and beginning of 3rd.

Yes, for sure, that is what the analytics tell you to do...but I'd love to just get the ball first, score, and immediately put the pressure on Maye.

 

If we get a quick 3-and-out it's just as good, however. The more I think about the more I'm fine with deferring.

Considering how they almost messed up the Chargers game I don't trust the Bills to get a comfortable win. May sneak through with victory, but too many basic errors too often to make for a stress free game.

We've seen the Bills fail to crush a weakened team before.  I don't know why but sometimes the Bills just don't show up.  That can't happen today, but actually yes it could.
