Doesn't mean much to me.   The Bills still have to show up.

I still remember when we played the Bengals in the 2022 Divisional rd. and the DL was supposed to feast because their entire starting OL was out.   Instead our DL got bullied the whole game and recorded zero sacks.   Or last year when we lost to the Texans and Davis Mills at QB.

I find it funny that after watching football for how long? People still think an 0-3 team is an automatic win. Or that your top guy is missing you should get blown out.

This game looks like it should be a Bills blowout win but I remember the last time the Giants came to OP (2023) and they were a bad team with a lot of injuries coming into the game. The Bills were favorite by around 17 or 18 points. It turned out to be 6-0 Giants going into the 4th quarter. The Bills scored to go up 7-6 and then the Giants kicked a FG for a 9-7 lead. The Bills scored again to go up 14-9 late in the 4th quarter. The Giants drove down to around the Bills 10 yard before holding on for a 14-9 win. That game was supposed to be easy for the Bills, and it turned out to be a nailbiter.

I was at that game.  Thanks Tyrod!

I really don't like these kind of games against struggling and/or injured teams because we all know that they SHOULD just bury them but many times they sleepwalk into the game thinking it's in the bag and then it's up for grabs.

Dang. Those are like their two best players.

Why do they need to blow them out? A win is a win.

I'd rather they rocket toward the SB as a juggeraut, not spotting dogs like the Chargers 5 TOs and pulling a win out in the 4th Q...

My point is when your wins against those opponents count for 33% of their combined  record you have sampling error

The point is, a great team getting better than a year ago to go farther than they did should easily handle bad teams--they aren't bad because of a sampling error.  Those are bad teams the Bills struggled to beat.

I'd love a blow out, but I'm not going to require one of the team and be disappointed or dissatisfied if they don't.

I know pal.  Just kidding around with you.  Cmon, I wouldn’t seriously give you a hard time.  I know the mafia.

Stats alone don’t tell the tale, you know that,

It’s a division game, they are always tuff.

What is the alternative tale stats aren't telling about, say, the Chargers?

It's certainly helpful, i think moore has much more potential to be a real problem for them defensively with gonzalez out.  Barmore is arguably as big of a gap though, and i assume we'll see more DQ jones.  Take care of the ball and make them work for points and i think Buffalo wins this pretty handily.

How often does that happen?  It's a long season, and it's extremely rare that you have wire to wire dominance.

What I'm most interested in is staying healthy, and rounding into form at the right time at the end of the year.

0-3 isn't meaningless, it's bad.  These teams, LAC in particular, are a disaster--nobody disputes this.  Not sure what you point is.

It’s an exaggerated statistic, as one of those loses for each of those teams, came at the hands of the Bills and not some other team.

I looked at this the other day. The only team I could find that blew out pretty much everybody was the 2008 Pats with Randy Moss. Every other team had some bad losses or struggled to beat some bad teams.

And they didn't even raise the trophy.

I agree with KJ.  They need to blow out a bad team.  Against HOU and LAC (0 wins combined), the total point differential was 13 points.

The way their defense is shaping up, they could finally do this. But every team plays the Bills like its their Super bowl

If you had to pick 3 guys to avoid: those two plus brown is the list.

we will see if they come out flat or feeling extra scrappy because of it though.

People shouldn't be getting all excited because to starters will be out of the game for the Patriots on Sunday. I once heard Colin Cowherd say that he asked the Las Vegas oddsmaker what the difference in the point spread would be if the JJ Watt, the reining defensive player of the year, was playing or not playing. The oddsmaker said less than one point.

The Patriots will put good players on the field. It's going to be a tough game.

And when Houston gets Nico back, that is a very tough team to beat again.

Weve played 2 good teams and 1 team that is in a tailspin.

13 pt differential means nothing, we turned the ball over 5x in one of those games.

Take care of the ball, this should be a 10+ point win.
