Good. Basically from the moment CBS stopped him tipping plays he has been absolutely dreadful.

All the time I was thinking his insight was as good as anybody, it didn't occur to me he was sitting in on team meetings the week before the game and then offering up the scoop!

I mean at least if you gonna act crazy, go bang hotter women than your wife like Vrabel did and not beat up homeless dudes 😂

Agreed - if he can, I think he will be back somewhere, he was a lot better than a lot of the people in booths these days.

He was excellent early on, clearly he regressed significantly... if he gets himself under control I am positive he will be back somewhere... maybe not on a major network, but I can see him back commenting or announcing somewhere... right now he has more important things to tend to.

JJ is a big step down from Romo unfortunately.  I thought Kuechly was pretty good on Netflix....he's down on the D-team for CBS, maybe he can work his way up the ranks.

His pre-FST stretching demo showed him still in great shape.  Surprised the Giants didn't sign him.  If Danny Dimes goes down again, you know who the Colts are calling...

Unfortunate. But no surprise.

I'm surprised, people get past DUI's all the time...this is deeper than that is my guess.  Did not read the article yet though

I hope this is more about the optics from the network’s standpoint than the depth of Romo’s personal troubles.  He’s got more than enough money for a lifetime, make the most of that life. Hopefully this was pretty isolated and not bigger than it appears.

I really liked Tony when he started. Then he got lazy and talked way too much.

He seems like a genuinely likable guy.

Romo, Brady, Collinsworth......they all just love the sound of their voice......someone needs to explain to them the concept of "less is more".

Well, their jobs are to fill all the space with their voices. So, for them, less isn't actually more.

I disagree.....I would rather hear the sounds of the game than the constant stream of drivel coming out of these guys mouths.

If they have something important and relevant to add, let's hear it...if not....then zip it, IMO.

Love Romo. Really bummed about the fake outrage by the NFL.

Poor guy clearly has a substance problem. It’s no surprise, given his history of back injuries. I hope he beats the demons.

I am not trying to be a wise guy but why do you say he has a substance abuse problem.  What evidence do you have?   I am honestly interested in your response.  Is everybody that gets pulled over for DWI have a substance abuse problem.   I kind of liked Romo as an announcer and as a person.  I remember reading a story when he was qbing the cowboys and he was driving to practice and there was a pregnant mother pulled over on the side of the road with a broken down car that obviously seen better days with two little kids in the back.  He drove the mother/kids to the nearest dealership and bought them a new car and was late for practice
