I was listening to Joe Marino yesterday and he made some good points.  The Bills last week played a wide 9 and a spy doing everything g to contain Josh and split the safeties, and we played into their hands.  Given the Chargers preference to play press man, what we should have done is run the ball down their throats.  We did, but only by accident.  We took too many shots downfield when we should've just dinked and dunked them down the field.

Brady’s not dumb.  From what i see in the post game and Mo day interviews, reading between the lines it seemed like he knew it.  Since the Cheats play a similar style, I’m guessing we get a heavy, heavy dose of Cook (in the kitchen- yes I may be in the minority but I actually like that phrase), Davis, and Johnson.  Shakir gets used a lot.  Kinkaid, Knox, and Hawes a ton.

If this is the style, then the game will be a little more boring, but so what.  Remeber the Dallas game a couple of years ago where we pounded them.  I still say..

31-16.  They are hit with one lucky TD and a bunch of crap FGs.  We on the other hand probably run for almost 300 yards on them, peppered with a ton or crossers, rub routes, and overall football we don’t like, but it’s the right thing to do.

Jax ran a lot of 12 and even 13 personnel last week and hammered them.  Maye has been speculated to have a shoulder issue, but it seems moreso of a between the ears problem.  He looks rattled.

If I were this guy, I would say…

They are hit magnificent Carnac says Groot, Walker, and even Hoecht have a heckuva day pounding on Maye.  He’ll be seeing ghosts after Sunday.

BTW- a little before my time, but my mom loved the Johnny Carson show so much when she couldn’t stay up, she’d record on our vhs the shows and watch on a Saturday morning.  I would play with my matchbox cars in the morning while she watched and slept in on a Saturday morning.  Yeah, yeah, I’m 58.

Mayes bum shoulder mixes with throws he shouldn’t make. Our secondary locks in. One pick 6 by Dee Alford contributes to the final score

Bills 34 (Bass misses an extra point)

Russini 13

I’ll say Bills 31-17.  Josh has now had his yearly crap game, and should bounce back this week.  I think we’ll see a lot of Cook and a lot of throws to Kincaid.  On defense I think the book is out on how to confuse Maye.

Tough score to call. New England's D can cause problems. Divisional game (obvs). Bills coming off a Sloppy Joe.

NE 19-24 Bills

The Pats*** are being destroyed in the media and although I don’t put much stock in the “desperate” label I feel like they, even more so than the Chargers, will come into this one feeling like their season might be on the line. I actually think Maye will probably play better than he has so far this season, but that doesn’t mean the Pats*** come away with a win.

Buffalo wants to get last week’s stench off of them as quickly as possible and I believe we’ll see a hyper-focused, motivated team from the jump.

Bills 34

Pats*** 19

Let’s Go, Buffalo! 20 AND 0, BABYYYYYYY!!!!!

If Allen's knee is hurting as is being reported, then I hope they get away from the tush/push and Allen running in general. It's not like the Bills have one of the best RBs in the game in #4. Wait a minute they do. I think the Bills win but it will be another nervous Sunday afternoon. 27-20.

I expect a rather conservative offensive approach for a variety of reasons. Bills win 27-20. Bills firmly in control but not a blowout.
