paulmm3 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I have heard the name before but I have no idea who Natasha Bedingfield is. I just find it kind of weird that musical performances at halftime of random regular season games is a thing now. Quote

I guess that’s all you need for a 15 minute halftime. She had a few hits but Pocketful of Sunshine her biggest. Unwritten another one I'd say hit mainstream. Quote

I've gotten to work with the Goo's a couple times here in LA and was shocked to discover while chatting with them that they are not fans at all. Johny said his parents were big fans but he never cared about sports as a kid. Robby had a similar story. They thought it was cool that I had been such a huge Bills fan for 40 years {at that time} yet never having been to Buffalo. I did get to almost run Johny over with my 1969 El Camino while blasting a death metal version of Iris my band recorded for a promo video for one of their tours! 2 Quote
flomoe Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Honestly, had no idea who this was because, like many of you, it’s just not the genre of music that I listen too. So, after a quick search, I find out that this song I’ve heard portions of at least 100 times, probably closer to 300!! My daughter played softball in college here in Florida and the girl that batted 2nd in the lineup in front of my daughter, had “Pocket Full of Sunshine” as her walk up song. I never knew who sang that song until now but it’s embedded into my brain as Hope’s walk up song. 😂 On 10/3/2026 at 5:57 AM, machine gun kelly said: Thanks Davinchi. You'd be surprised at how often big headliners play small, private party shows because someone is willing to fork over the cash. One of the Hunter's Hope balls, the Goo Goo Dolls were the musical act. They flew in from wherever they were on tour, played maybe half an hour or so, then left to get back on tour. Not sure what they were paid, or if they did it just because it was a charity event. But it was cool. Quote

Chicharito Posted October 5 Posted October 5 For those of you that were not in attendance today consider yourself lucky. Aside from the game itself the halftime concert was absolutely brutal. Quote

Just because it wasn't Skynyrd or Metallica or whatever your into, didn't mean it was bad. 1 Quote

zow2 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 My 19 year old daughter was with me in the stadium, she loved it and sang along with 2 of the songs she knew. I knew them as well, Pocket full of Sunshine and Unwritten. Quote

I asked my 27 yr old son before the game if he heard of her and he laughed and said the Unwritten song was their HS graduation song. It was the last song she did and my son - more than a few beers in at that point- was laughing and singing and dancing and taking video for his friends and my daughter - having the best time. But also I couldn't believe how many people in the stands were dancing and singing and having a great time. Not just women/girls - I saw lots of men singing and taking video and having a great time. It made me think- its not necessarily hiw great the artist is for these performances - but how memorable some of the 3 songs they play are to people in the crowd. I never would in a million years have come up with this artist - but as far as I could tell it was very fun and enjoyable for a large portion of the crowd bc of the songs they were familiar with 2 Quote
