Someday, this guy will be 48 years old and we will still have threads about trading for him 😆

We have threads about Suh and T Hill, so why not.

Have you actually watched him play recently?

I haven't seen him play. I have heard about how he hasn't been all that great but we are talking about a guy that showed he had a ton of potential his rookie season and if all it takes is a 4th to get him off their hands, I don't see the problem. I wouldn't give anything higher

You want to throw a 4th round pick at a guy you haven't even watched play a single time recently......

I don't feel compelled to pursue this conversation any further.

I know what he did his rookie year. Anyone who has watched him play is still clamoring for him because of what he did his rookie year. And his rookie year, he looked like the next big up and coming WR. I still think it's worth a flyer

He's not getting snaps because they are running more 12 personnel....we run a ton of 13 personnel! He'd never see the field, this wouldn't be interesting unless Moore or Shakir are injured.

This x1000.

The Bills lead the league in play utilizing 2+ TEs - so if anything his number of snaps here drops to Palmer levels or less.

He can’t block - so he doesn’t get Coleman’s snaps and he is worse than Shakir and Moore - so what is the benefit.

I would rather see the team find time to incorporate Bell into the offense and use the draft pick on another WR next draft at this point even a 4th or 5th round pick can do what Jax gets out of BTJ and the Cards get from MHJ.

I’m all for improving the team.  DJ Moore is getting injured already.  It’s a long season.  One injury and we’d have plenty of room for him or MHJ.

it would be cool if we could trade for Joey Porter JR or sign another good DB.

id also like us to sign Bobby Wagner.  Yes he is a free agent!!! He’s old but he had a strong year last year, particularly as a run defender, oh and he’s a SB winning HOF LBer who has tons of experience in a 3-4.  I feel like our D could really use some of that.

People on this site are weird.

"Hey, let's see if we can get BTJ for a 4th or 5th round pick and see what happens"

"No, thanks. Don't wanna give up assets for someone when we can draft someone next year"

Draft someone like who? Another 4th or 5th rounder that will probably be a backup? If you can get BTJ who could just need a better QB and change of scenery and you can get him for a 4th, I fail to see what the problem is. Either you give up a 4th and you hit gold or you lose a backup that will probably not contribute much anyway. Some of you all are strange lol. I remember when there were rumors about us being in on McCaffery when he was leaving Carolina. All the "no, thanks" people were plentiful. I don't get it. We have to be the only franchise in the league where we could trade for prime Jerry Rice and people here would be like "eh...don't need him" lol. Weird

Soooo who do you get rid of to create the roster spot?

The Bills currently have one draft pick in every round of the 2027 draft plus an extra 6th rounder (SVPG trade)... 8 total.

There might be a compensatory in there too losing David Edwards, Reggie Gilliam, Mitchell Trubisky?

If you believe Joe Brady, the second play Allen only threw because he saw the defender jump the snap and thought he would get the Offside flag (and we should have gotten it).

If you believe Josh Allen he did not throw that because he thought there was a flag.  He was asked point blank that question.  I get Joe Brady thinks there should have been a flag, but its not why Allen threw the ball per Allen himself.

The only people still clamoring for him are the people that have only watched him play his rookie year.

I fixed that for you.

i don’t now if we have a spot for the guy tbh.  I guess I’d consider trading Palmer for him….but even then, he might be a downgrade.  Maybe if we lose a WR to injury, but even then.  Might be worth a day 3 pick.

I don't follow college football so don't know a thing about him, but Jeremiah Smith sounds like a great name for someone on the Buffalo Bills.

Maybe worth a mid round pick. Could be there in the 7th

Meanwhile, a 2026 6th round pick is now taking snaps from him.  Go figure

Jeremiah Smith would be way more expensive than that, I’m afraid. But yes, giving Josh a generational guy for act two of his career would be amazing. Would do your proposed deal in a millisecond.

Like @Kirby Jackson suggested it’s probably 3 first to begin with. I would be on board with that. This roster for the most part is locked up for the next few seasons and could continue to improve. There’s some upgrades needed but that is the same with every team. I don’t see the shape of it being needing exceptional amounts.

Honestly, if we are playing GM I entertain 2 firsts and a second from the 2027 draft. Depending on where they land come the end of the year. Where we are probably going, 3 firsts is where it’s at. And as much of a price that may be, landing a generational guy like you said for the tail end of his prime should be a no brainer. Very unlikely but would be sensational for Josh and the team.
