machine gun kelly Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Well, he’s on the injury report now, and it is his throwing shoulder. IMO, it’s also what between the ears. He’s seeing ghosts and it started in the end of last season especially in the playoffs. With this five odd man front, I can see Walker, Rousseau, and even Hoecht having a field day with him. My guess is Chubb will get in it as well. What I enjoyed last Sunday was an improved secondary in communication. I know Benford is out, but IGB played well. We are thin on depth, so Alford will probably dress. Go Bills! 3 1 Quote

RunTheBall Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Maye does not have a shoulder injury. That’s 100% PR crap trying to save his fragile psyche. Watch his footwork - it’s horrible. His mechanics are off because after 7 games of a 2 high shell he still doesn’t know what he’s looking and he’s getting worse. The key for Leonhard is to keep him confused. He has to disguise coverages - show one thing pre snap and rotate into another. Mac Hollins is the only guy he trusts. I’d double him and make him throw to Douglas and Henry (who looks washed). I think NE is going to try and go old school. Power running, play action, short passes, selective deep shots. The best way to get them out of their gameplan is to get a quick lead. I’m definitely still in the defer the kickoff camp but if we win the toss I’d take the ball and run James down their throats until they show they can stop it. 1 Quote

According to that, Maye is "this close" to being his MVP self and the only problem is that he just wants it too dang much. 3 Quote

Kraft is procuring the services of a professional intimacy provider. No conflict of interest involved. What vrable did was worse, because it has negative impacts on sports journalism as well as potential NFL tampering stuff 1 Quote

And if this were still McD's defense, I wouldn't be surprised with them putting 200+ on the ground and lose a close trap game. I'll be really surprised ....and really pi$$ed if that happens to Leonard. Quote

So Alford, a starter, will probably dress? Did you mean someone else, like Hancock or Walker or Couch? Alford is absolutely essential whether Benford plays or not. More so, of course, when he is out. Please clarify if you're able. 32 minutes ago, colin said: Imo it is different. Kraft is procuring the services of a professional intimacy provider. No conflict of interest involved. And that's outside of any mentions in the Epstein files. What he has done is likely more heinous than any football-related infractions imho. That said, I agree with any league sanctions imposed on Meathead and his organization, for their continued unethical, immoral, and dishonest dealings. Eff the Patriots and eff Robert Kraft. Gross. Yeah- we’d let them dunk on us for the whole first half, while McD evaluates the situation and we’d get way in the hole to the point where a comeback is tough, but then roll out the D in 2nd half that we should have played from the start that totally clamps down and they get nothing in the 2nd half but we lose a close one even though we score all the points in 2nd half. It’d be like 28-24. Now we’ll just get after Maye and confuse him from snap one and it’s game over in 1st qtr. 1 Quote

Chris Sims analyzed his throwing motion on Pro Football Talk 2 days ago. The whole thing is full of different points relating to Maye, but with respect to the shoulder and throwing, start about the 8 minute mark, when Sims goes into detail. if this is truly the way Maye is throwing a football now, it’s bizarre! He’s really fed up! 2 Quote
