Like Lindsey Clancy, this story is falling along the same lines.

Many women immediately defending the woman, with men defending the men.

The whole thing is gross, but this feels alot like consensual sex with remorse.

Now we have online doxxing campaigns to out the woman, given the men’s lives have been ruined based on allegations.

It’s getting to a point where the millenial/gen-z male/female divide is becoming irreparable as a whole.

Between dating apps/hypergamy, wildly divergent values and economic factors, we are going in a rough direction.

I see the defense for the “victim” as conflicting statements, telling the men they did nothing illegal, reaching back out to some of the men and wanting to hang out with them again as trauma response… but genuine question.. if anything a woman does after an alleged rape is trauma response, what defense does a man have against false accusations?  (Asking in good faith, as I’m sure there’s some validity to certain trauma responses for true rape victims)

but will this help men determine what women they should have kids with or not?  that's the true concern here.

The victim’s statement is rough for her case. She admits she went there consensually to have sex and agreed to a threesome.

However, if she really did a ton of ketamine, that raises questions about her ability to further consent throughout the rest of the situation.

Also, the texts by the frat guy are pretty gross.

Just seems like a really awful situation. Some of her statement makes it sound like she’s trying to protect some of the guys because she doesn’t want them to get in trouble.

This already came up with my 16 year old daughter and I had to explain the guys being gross is not a legal liability. The fact the guys wanted to do that is a sign they are losers but unless she said gave indication that she did want to go forward, which she apparently never did, then are legally fine. Also I read that when she said no to anything the guys respected her no, which legally makes a big difference. There are plenty of scumbag guys and if you let them take advantage of you then it is on you. Obviously lying or force change the equation completely, but there is no indication they do either of those.

I don't really see a lot of men online defending these guys, as much as I see them avoiding a rush to judgment.

With that being said, it does look like Cornell did a terrible job of sharing information with law enforcement that probably would have led to a more in-depth investigation. Specifically her original statement appears to include an assertion that in spite of the initial consensual encounters felt that she was 100% raped after.

That alone should have led to more police involvement, and if it was intentionally left out, as is being said now, is definitely an indictment of the University.

Once the ketamine came out, I have no doubt that it became rape. There’s no way she could have consented past that point IMO.

Frat culture is out of control.

Penn State.

Cornell (whether this was "rape" or not)

Our universities just need to move on from this relic. At least our so-called elite universities; we'll have to wait a century or two for Alabama.

Hell, a kid drank himself to death during a hazing ritual at UB not too long ago. I think that frat was banned and the leader got some jail time for manslaughter.

they represent much of the American ethos: intense competition with very high priorities on attractiveness, wealth and connections.  they should be banned but that would only put off the game for a few years until it hits in the real world.

So if a man and woman do ketamine together, anything that happens after could be construed as rape by the man?

Any other drugs men should avoid taking with women for all her actions thereafter become null and void?

I don’t know the  in and out with this case, nor am I defending either side, but you’re referring to a couple doing drugs together to have some fun.  This wasn’t that.  It’s was at a fraternity house, with multiple  guys having sex with one girl. Bring ketamine into that equation, and it’s not nearly the same situation you’re describing.

why is it always men vs women with you?  I really don’t see a divide you think there is on this.

She snorted K off a dudes d**k.. this was hardly forced.

And by her own admission, she was more with it than half the guys she had sex with.

The whole thing is gross.  The facts should play out.  I'll reserve judgment but, based on what I've seen so far (very little), I wouldn't have charged the case.  It's too hazy and muddy.

That said, the behavior of the "gentlemen" involved in this is despicable.  Particularly the text messages.  I just don't know if it crosses the line from immorality to illegality.

Cornell owns that county, the should have to bring a DA from another county to look at the case

I'm not gonna go there.  I won't question the impartiality of that DA until there's a reason to do so.  The whole thing is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" mess.

.  i'm not defending her.  i just responded to your comments on drug use.  do you really not understand how ketamine in that situation can turn into something other than consensual sex.  the scenario could be she was willing to do the drug, have the sex, etc.  but if that ketamine incapacitate the girl and random guys continue to have sex with her without her consent, that's technically rape.
