Popular Post Briscoe89 Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 Hey all - posted here a few times about an upcoming trip from Australia. It finally happened this past weekend where myself and my young son were at the Chargers game. Across my life I’ve been fortunate enough to see a number of sporting events across Australia, the U.S and Europe. What I experienced on Sunday was hands down better than anything else I’ve ever been to, both before, during and after the game. We had seats in sec 106 and for the three and a bit hours we we were in the stadium we were effectively adopted by a dozen odd locals who were seated around us. It was as if they’d all known us for 20 years, and by a pure simple crude measure the number of high fives I received across those three hours out number the total number of high fives I’ve received since birth… The game itself obviously sorted itself at at the end and winning ugly is still winning and the memories from the game and the day will last a lifetime. 19 68 12 Quote

Bills Mafia embraces the fans. Even opposing teams sometimes. Glad you guys had a great experience. 4 Quote

I'm happy you visited Upstate NY and had a great time! Come back again and let other Aussies know there is more to New York State than NYC! We'll keep the tables and wings ready for you again. 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted September 29 Posted September 29 My wife and son were in Sydney recently. Loved the people. Loved the food... especially the quality and diversity of the Asian options. And, personally, I was in Sydney, Montana, recently. Not quite as impressed. @Briscoe89, glad you had a great time! 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Bills fans are one of the greatest communities in the world, I firmly believe that. 3 10 Quote

This warms my heart. I hate that my parents basically were forced to flee WNY in the ‘80’s due to economic conditions. I hold out hope that, one day, I may be able to enjoy summers and falls in the area yearly. Glad you had a successful visit!!! People from the area truly are gems of America. 1 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Glad you had a great time! The people of Buffalo are nothing if not friendly! I've been gone for 2+ decades, but still miss the good natured folks of WNY. 4 Quote
Sojourner Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Glad you and your family got to make a trip to à game. Definitely more special than the majority of first times for most given the distance you made to attend. Even more glad you were well taken care of. Best part was the Bills came back and put the Chargers on the barbie!!! I don’t think there’s many fan bases as warm and hospitable as Buffalo. KC Chiefs, for all the goings on between our teams as of late have some awesome fans. Totally awesome during both the 13 seconds loss and last season’s divisional. Even after the outcome they were hospitable. Green Bay is another awesome fan base. Hopefully you find many more opportunities to attend à game and watch our boys play! All the best to you and your family, and again couldn’t be happier you had a great experience! Go Bills! 1 Quote
