Huge difference.

Last Year Drake Maye was on an upward trend, this year, the direct opposite.  Yesterday was his worst day as a Pro QB.

Yes at it should be.  His one fumble going back to pass was comical.

We hope... I am not convinced of this.. but to your point it isnt "the same" last year it was here come the Pats with a young QB... smack down time again... I personally felt like we were not prepared for what they were gonna bring... this year... they are division winners and a much more known entity. Drake's QB trend is down last year it was up... but he is in desperate need of a get right game against a Defense that tends to let offenses "get right"...  so I am nervous..

but we threw a clunker yesterday lets hope that is an aberration... if the defense can hold them to under 20 like they did this week then I like our chances... if they revert to the... we love giving up over 30 and watch Josh sweat Defense... could be another story.. but I am not only not counting Drake Maye out, I am betting he has his best game he has had since November 2025. So we best be ready as a team and for a nail biter as fans...  JMO...  that said, my Kingdom for a blow out game where we crush their souls...

Hold them to 20?  Wow!

They have so far averaged a mighty 12 points per game!

The Bills have been very fortunate to meet teams so far who were missing a lot of players and this week is also no exception. The Patriots are beat up.

We already know that AJ Brown will be out , and starting RG Michael Onwenu will also be out. Harold Landry Jr is on PUP.

Those are 3 big players to begin with but it’s possible they will be missing OG Greg Van Roten (former Bill) who was to be the starter for the already mentioned Onwenu. Might see the debut of 1st round pick Caleb Lomu at either Tackle or Guard

Patriots are also missing a Starting S and starting OLB Dremont Jones may be out as well.

So two OGs, # 1 WR, both starting Edge Rushers , and a starting S seem to be out for this one

With respect, I am going to ignore such reports. We heard similar things before the Chargers game including it was a road game for them, they were traveling to the East coast etc . And that team gave us a run for the money.

On paper, we should beat the Pats by two scores.

12 is under 20 that works...  what do you think we need to hold them under to win?

Lol I’m just saying we’ve been fortunate and gave an update on the Pats injury situation. My intention was not intended to mean we were going to annihilate them

I wouldn't worry too much about the performance against the Chargers, reckon it was an anomaly.

The important thing now with Drake Maye coming to town is to just get back on Schedule.

Regardless of record, I expect the game to be a nail biter and go down to the wire.  The Patriots are getting skewered in the press today.  They will be playing for their season next week.

I really ***** hate the pats*

A thousand times yes. Watching Brady, the consistent cheating one, on fox Sunday made me sick. the man is a Dilbo. he managed to reference his win streak over the bills. he literally said he was popular with bills people and then made sure to mention his win streak. what a Dilbo!

in the broadcast they mentioned the time the patriots came in 2012. it was my bachelor party. bills went up 21 - 0 and then lost 42 -24 or something.

hate the patriots. I know the old guys hate the dolphins and I respect that. Tom Brady, the dirty cheater, was 33 - 2 against the bills. I watched all of them. In the snow, the rain, in the bills backers bar when I was far from home. I watched alone and with friends and family. often I became enraged and had to retreat for cigarettes on the porch. I hate the patriots.

Amazing the amount of consternation and worry on this board about literally each week’s opponent. Worst matchup imaginable, backed in a corner, playing for their season, etc. Yet somehow the Bills manage to

win the vast majority of their games each year. I’m all for objective analysis, but this stuff seems ridiculous.

I said none of that.  All I implied was it is a divisional game with an opponents back to the wall.  The last 6 games between the teams have been split 3-3 and the margin of victory was 7 points or fewer.  To expect NE to come in to Buffalo an lay down is absurd.  It will be a close game.

Despite this past game being so challenging mainly due to turnovers, I believe the Bills will be much more motivated to dominate a Pats team that embarrassed them last season.  It’s gonna be great.

There’s probably only two things we need to do on defense. Contain Henderson - no explosive TDs, and don’t allow Maye to bolt for first downs. Stevenson is a nice back but he shouldn’t dictate a game script. The WRs aren’t scary or special.

Perhaps not your post in particular ( just the one I happened to quote as it was recent) but these kind of threads in general. Just amazed at the amount of BBFS in them.

I think this is going to be a tough game, but not because I think the Pats are good. Just because it's a divisional game and those are usually tough games. The Patriots are down in the dumps and looking for any type of spark they can get. Lets not give them one.

I don't think Allen will be off two games in a row. I also don't think Kincaid will fumble a ball like that again. Cook is another one that I don't think will fumble. I think Cook has a fumbling problem but they seem to be far between at least that I remember.

The question for me is, can the defense have two good games in a row? Get pressure on Mac Maye. Don't let him beat you with his legs. He is bound to make mistakes so capitalize on them. Keep them demoralized and we should win this game.

I mentioned this in another thread, the best thing that could have happened to the Bills was to have had that ugly game and to come away with the win.

All the press and media were fawning over the Bills and honestly I saw a couple players falling into it as well and almost losing was the perfect wakeup call going against the Division winners Patriots.  I expect no let down this game and that the offense will be locked in.
