Success Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Really, the same situation as when they came to Buffalo last year. They had a bad start, and we could have put them in a pretty good hole, but we turned the ball over, let them stick around and they ended up pulling the game out & starting their crazy run. I don't see that happening this year. That team is LOST right now, and they have no idea what to expect out of a QB who they all thought would be top 5 at worst this year. This is a game we should win easily at home - even for a division game. Quote

Let's Go Buffalo Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Our first Divisional Game of the season......Let's go get it! Go Bills! 3 Quote
Don Otreply Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Imo, fwiw, is that we will win this game, knowing full well the pats will be doing their absolute best to beat us, as a divisional game its importance is quite obvious, the division crown , and playoff seating will likely be influenced by the outcome. All that said, we are going to kick the living crap out of them!!! GO BILLS!!! 1 Quote

Sestak4ever Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Over the past few years we seem to play poorly on the offense for two weeks in a row. Don’t know if that’s coincidence or was on McDermott, or Allen, or whatever. In 2023 it was against Cincinnati and Denver, in 2024 it was against Baltimore and Houston, in 2025 it was against New England and Atlanta. Hopefully we come out strong this week. Go Bills!🏈🍻 1 Quote

So the first half schedule which looked tough before the season softened up and now it is tough again because teams we thought were going to be good are bad. And will be desperate when they play us. We can't catch a break . Lol 1 6 Quote
TPS Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Wanted to put this in a post-Chargers thread, but now that we're on to the Pats: I thought Landon Jackson was noticeable in a good way yesterday. There were a few plays where I wondered who it was that caught my eye, then saw the #94. Hopefully this is the start of good things for him. 6 1 Quote
Success Posted September 28 Posted September 28 So much chatter from that fanbase last year about having an elite QB so soon after Brady and "Dynasty 2.0." Not that easy, is it Pats fans? I'll never tire of them being just another franchise now, with the usual struggles & setbacks. 1 Quote

Anytime I heard reasons we will destroy a team I'll assume those will actually be our weaknesses. Wasn't Josh supposed to throw all over the yard today? Anyways yeah Drake Meh sucks, the Pats suck. We'll get carved up next week. We'll probably win but it's not going to be the way we all think it's going to be. I'm thinking sort of like today with less turnovers. Basically offense will skid a bit and defense will continue its 3 and out or TDs. (However they did make some stops today) I found the narratives around the Chargers to be weird....3 weeks prior people were calling the SB contenders due to the same players that now suddenly no better than the Dolphins. I think their problem is mostly Mike McD not jelling with Herbert. No way were they as bad as people were talking last week. Same goes for the Pats, their defense is good.....if they get back to basics on offense they will be a viable contender. 1 Quote

I have not noticed him getting push in the pass rush but that may be a combination of small sample size and his responsibilities in this defense. Quote

McDaniel needs his speed demons to succeed, and he needs his QB to get rid of the ball quickly like prime Tua. It was a weird fit with Herbert and the Chargers' skill positions personnel. I think he gets fired sooner rather than later. And I say that as a person who actually admires what he did with that Dolphins personnel. Quote
nuklz2594 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 drake maybe....weei radio hosts get credit for that. I see a no BS week of practice for this game. if team isn't motivated and lays another egg....then we may have reason for some concern. Quote
wjag Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Man the crucifixion of Drake Maye is in full throat across all Boston Media. Quote

They aren’t “Miami bad” but they are “Pittsburgh bad.” They’re going to be .500 if they’re lucky. Even that supposedly excellent defense looked like trash yesterday. You can tell Vrabel is hating life. Bills need to put their foot on the Pats*** neck and don't let up. 35 minutes ago, wjag said: Man the crucifixion of Drake Maye is in full throat across all Boston Media. Offset only by the cringe X contingent who claim Maye as their lord and savior...it's really weird. 1 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted September 28 Posted September 28 A little context for the pearl-clutchers still scared of the Pats: - The Pats have scored 29 points on 30 possessions this season. That’s the fewest points per drive for a team through their first 3 games since the 2021 NY Jets. That would be the 1st 3 starts of Zach Wilson’s career. - Drake Maye has 9 fumbles and 10 INTs in the last 7 games. The last player with 9 fumbles and 10 INTs in a 7 game span was Jameis Winston in 2019. 1 1 Quote

Last Year Drake Maye was on an upward trend, this year, the direct opposite. Yesterday was his worst day as a Pro QB. 46 minutes ago, wjag said: Man the crucifixion of Drake Maye is in full throat across all Boston Media. Yes at it should be. His one fumble going back to pass was comical. Quote
