This game is huge!

 

Win this game and we’re 3.5 games up on the Patriots just a quarter into the season.

 

Okay fellas, time to put the ball down, and take it to the Patriots! Bury the Pats!

I would love a perfect game against “The Schedule” led patriots. Going to be a tight close game inside the division is my take right now.

Well IMO, they might wanna think about 2 in the backfield, seems like they could(have) used Gilliam here and there. The Pats are gonna blitz a ton, so what do you do?

Brady is gonna have to be creative. When's the last time we used a reverse or flea-flicker? Are we gonna ever see..." wow, that was really cool what Brady dialed up"?

The Pats stink. Their record last year was a joke. They’ve been exposed. They aren’t “Miami bad” but they are “Pittsburgh bad.” They’re going to be .500 if they’re lucky.

I was telling my dad and brother going into this game that I had a sense that we may had been getting too high off our own supply.  All these puff pieces and interviews and podcasts fawning over the Bills, I saw Dion Dawkins on Acho and Shady’s podcast and Dion was proclaiming the Bills to be the best offense. QB, offensive line and RB in the league with a chance to be the greatest ever, of course he was being egged on by the hosts.

 

At that moment I knew “ This could be a let down game”.

 

Honestly, this was the best possible outcome for the Bills.  To come back down to earth, touch grass and escape with a victory.  Because now I’m pretty sure we will be locked in going into this Patriots game.

 

I’m feeling good about this game.

That's correct. Just texted that to my dad a little while ago. Only difference is this year we can really bury New England, almost fatally, given their more difficult schedule.

 

Last year we had the "icy" look and debuted the Rivalries uniforms. This year, IDGAF what we wear. The Bills odds of taking back the East are incredibly high if we can just knock off New England Sunday

No - this year we've gotten the Debut Of The Hideous Alternate Uniforms already out of the way

We were more or less in the same position last season.  4-0 against NE's 2-2 and a simple home win would have felt more or less like locking down the division despite how early it was.  But we didn't.  Huge test for Brady in the early going.

We kept hearing how the chargers Oline was trash and their DBs were banged up and how we're going to steam roll blah blah blah. Anytime I heard reasons we will destroy a team I'll assume those will actually be our weaknesses. Wasn't Josh supposed to throw all over the yard today?  Anyways yeah Drake Meh sucks, the Pats suck. We'll get carved up next week. We'll probably win but it's not going to be the way we all think it's going to be. I'm thinking sort of like today with less turnovers. Basically offense will skid a bit and defense will continue its 3 and out or TDs. (However they did make some stops today)
