After fumbling Cook seems to run like a man possessed. If he went into a shell, that wouldn't be good, but he seems to want the ball back in his hands, to atone for his mistake.

 

The Charger Defensive players were really good at punching the ball out, they were hitting their targets.

It is INCREDIBLE what Cook has accomplished given his size. Yeah, I hope he never fumbles again too, but I respect the ***** out of the guy for how he put in 100% all the time and gets league leading results.

This is true, BUT I don’t really care about all that when you are in traffic, especially after the sticks, cover that ball.   The lack of emphasis on ball security as a whole team is a little concerning.  Bill plays are great, but when the ball goes the other way in the middle of them, it’s killer. 
 

If I were Brady, I’d be calling Tiki Barber and asking him what a mentorship/coaching job is worth to him haha.

Cook has had 900 rushes and 134 catches in his career.  That’s 1034 touches and a total of 14 fumbles.  
 

This is a non-issue.

If your numbers are correct then over his career, Cook appears not to be a fumbler based on 1 fumble per 73.86 touches for a fumble percentage 1.35%. This is not great but it is acceptable.

 

However last year Cook fumbled 6 times in 342 touches which is 1 fumble per 57 touches for a fumble percentage of 1.75%.

 

This is considered a bad fumble percentage.

 

So far this year he has 2 fumbles in 74 touches which is 1 fumble per 37 touches for a fumble percentage of 2.70 which is poor.

I’m 100% done with cook.  I’m sorry I know he’s good and makes some great cuts, but damn he fumbles more than anyone.  It just hurts us too much.
