Man, the guy was never tired of pumping everyone up all game. Loved he went over to offense high-five everyone when they scored.

Heard a few other vets talking, Bernard, Hoecht, pumping the D guys up. Surprised CJGJ yelled to everyone "We gotta do it. let's earn our money!" that I assume in the stretch when the Texans took the lead.  And of course Chubb had the perspective before they went out for the last defensive series "Hey it doesn't matter what happened all game, It's about what happens right now. let's get off the g*d damn field, man!"

What was cool with the camera iso on the D-line that last series of the game you can really see how much they turned up the intensity to try and get to Stroud every snap.  Finally they were successful.  Great stuff!  Glad to have the leadership Chubb brings and boy, he doesn't give a F__K that he's miked up.

This beats the fell out of “don’t blink”

I see you!!

seems like Chubb looks up to Groot more than Groot looks up to him.  Figuratively.

Was he much of a factor? Four assists and two QB hits.

For me, yes, because he's still disruptive even if he doesn't get home as much as he used to.  Right now, I'll be excited late in games with Chubb, Walker, Oliver and Rousseau in there.  Especially if they double on Walker.

Depending on the play (down and distance, red zone or not), Leonhard has shown 3, 4, 5 fronts.

The very last defensive play is a 3 man front. Chubb, Oliver and Rousseau. Arguably the best pass rushers on this team. Interesting question is when will Walker forces himself into the picture. Texans chose to double Chubb and Oliver. I feel the Lions, in a similar situation, may want to double Rousseau now.

The 2nd to last play is a 4 man front. Chubb, Oliver, Walker, and Rousseau. Again, the best 4 man front the Bills have. Texans doubled Oliver, everyone else is one on one. And Walker beat his man first.

Until Sanders play, I don't know who are the best 5 man front. In the Texans game, Landon Jackson started along with the other 4.

Dude - open yer eyes. Chubb took on doubles most of the game allowing Groot to do his thing. With Walker and Chubb we have a pounding D line. Let them get a few games under their belts. This is a very good D line!

Yup. And soon the opposite will happen. As Groot makes more plays and flashes on films, teams will slide the double teams his way, freeing Chubb up to make some big plays. And the more Walker flashes the more attention he will need as well. Oliver should benefit from all this too.

They also doubled him fairly significantly and had a lot of plays going away from him. I think there's a moment in the video where he's even saying something like "I'm on the weak side on all these plays."

i have NFL+, rewatched counting chubb double teams

63- plays/snaps

12- double teams

0 - sacks

0 - solo tackles

2 - qb hits

6 - handled 1v1 by #86 TE schultz

5 - completely unblocked

never beat an opponent with power and/or speed

very ineffective

hopefully that changes

It's so hard to watch individual players on TV.  I came away from the game thinking I did not see/hear much from him.  He was on a lot more QB pressures and hits than I thought/saw.
