Compensatory pick update

I know I know it’s in the middle of the beginning of the season and no one has this in their thought process but @GunnerBill and I have stated numerous times that as it sits right now the 2027 draft will be a historic draft when it comes to depth and elite playmakers at the top of the draft. 
 

 

This will change but with Cam Lewis being a starter in Chicago at Safety or NCB he is now eligible in the compensatory pick formula. 
 

Unfortunately Gilliam dropped off because of snaps but the snaps that Lewis is playing plus the snaps Gillian’s and David Edwards are playing has bumped Edwards into Round 4 for the time being which is huge moving up an entire round in this draft and if Gilliam can somehow get included it could give us an additional 7th . Back to Lions talk haha

If Reggie Gilliam continues to get run, depending on injuries for the snap count part of the equation, there's a chance he nets us a 7th Round pick as well.

My gut feeling is that once Treyveon Henderson is healthy, they are going to tell him to run behind Gilliam so he doesn’t have to figure out where he should be running.
 

The pats used to do that with Lawrence Maroney (I believe it was him) because their vision stunk too so they had him follow his FB. So hopefully, Gillys snaps increase once Henderson starts playing.
