corta765 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I enjoy putting the pedal to the metal, pen to the paper, peanut butter to jel.. ok I'll shut up. Predictions are fun because your either right or you are the dumbest person alive. I yearly go through all 272 games through nfl playoff predictor and predict out the season. This is where I ended up, but please comment or share your prediction: AFC 1. CIN (AFCN) 13-4 2. DEN (AFCW) 12-5 3. HOU (AFCS) 11-6 4. BUF (AFCE) 11-6 5. KC 12-5 6. NE 11-6 7. JAX 10-7 Just missed: BAL 10-7 miss on tiebreaker, IND 9-8 // LAC 8-9 I am buying the koolaid that CIN finally is back and I truly do believe their defense has done enough to be middle of the road which gets them back not only into the playoffs but tops of the AFC. I review & analyze teams schedules pretty deep and one of the things that helps catapult a team to a great year is a favorable schedule (as NE proved last year). Even playing in the AFC North the Bengals schedule is incredibly favorable this year which bolds well. DEN I have been high on all off season and even with two more losses they beat out KC for the division. HOU wins the division again as the defense is great and offense better where it can do things. I truly think the Bills season is a tight one throughout with NE and we get them on tiebreakers this time. I also think it won't be until the last third of the season the defense comes together so if they start 4-3 I am not panicking. The Chiefs return to the dance as variance favors them this year after a year of everything going wrong & Mahomes is too good for them to miss again. NE takes a step back record wise but frankly has a better team. JAX proves their real despite a tough schedule and makes back to back playoff appearances for the first time in two decades. The Ravens are the odd man out as they have a good year but lose on tiebreakers. I think it will take a year for the defense to come together, their offensive line is not nearly as settled as people say, and my bold prediction of the year is Henry finally meets father time which slows their offense down. Like Seattle in 2024 the foundation is set for the future though and BAL comes into 2027 far scarier. IND hangs around but can't finish the deal and the Chargers losses on defense are too much for an offense that always has injuries. NFC 1. LAR (NFCW) 13-4 2. DAL (NFCE) 13-4 3. DET (NFCN) 12-5 4. CAR (NFCS) 9-8 5. PHI 12-5 6. SEA 12-5 7. MIN 10-7 Just missed: GB 10-7 miss on tiebreaker, CHI 9-8 // SF 9-8 // NOLA 9-8 The Rams exact revenge on Seattle to clinch the 1 seed and division this year as Seattle falls to the 6 seed despite a 12-5 campaign. Dallas sees their investment on defense pay off big time and the offense goes rough shot to miss the 1 seed due to tiebreaker as they lose to the Rams. DET was a playoff team based on advanced stats last year but luck, injuries, and turnovers hurt them; not this year as the 4th place schedule gifts them an easy run for the division. The NFC South sucks but someone needs to win and I buy the Panthers especially on defense even with injury to do enough an beat NOLA on a tiebreaker at 9-8. My bold prediction in the NFC is Tampa Bay implodes losing their last five after starting 6-6 and they proceed to clean house. PHI misses the division but still makes it in as a Wild Card. Minnesota has quality QB play that jolts them past Green Bay who I think is stuck as a middling team that is can win 9-11 games but not enough to be more. CHI great offense but the defense lacks talent & doesn't get turnovers this year while San Fran losses the gamble against father time and the age of their stars catches them with injuries again and they miss. ~Please note I am wayyyy more confident in my regular season picks & field vs what happens in the postseason~ Playoffs AFC Wild Card: 2. DEN losses to 7. JAX // 3. HOU defeats 6. NE // 4. BUF defeats 5. KC NFC Wild Card: 2. DAL defeats to 7. MIN // 3. DET losses to 6. SEA // 4. CAR losses to 5. PHI AFC Divisional: 1. CIN losses to 7. JAX // 3. HOU loses to 4. BUF NFC Divisional: 1. LAR defeats 6.SEA // 2. DAL defeats to 5. PHI AFC Title: 4. BUF defeats 7. JAX NFC Title: 1. LAR defeats 2. DAL Super Bowl: 4. BUF defeats 1. LAR No time like the present eh. Buffalo eviscerates playoff pain against KC to land a rematch against HOU who they lost narrowly to week 1. This time the Bills defense can dictate enough on their side to allow the Bills offense to a play a very rope a dope game that is borrowing as hell but fails to give HOU mistakes to capitalize on. The Bills get the tough Jags at home, but thanks to some favorable weather causing a Trevor Lawrence fumble with ten to go the Bills out last them 24-21. The Rams as the 1 seed avoid the chaos of the NFC for a week before an all time classic vs Seattle as Stafford gets Adams on a last second TD. Dallas makes a run to the NFC title for the first time since 1996, but LA's defense is too much for the Cowboys and the Rams offense puts the game out of hand in the 4th quarter. Super Bowl: Bills over Rams 27-23. The Bills win the rematch after they fell early in the season 30-24. The Bills defense and offense are a bit more unified compared to early season growing pains, whereas the length of the season on the Rams aging stars catches up just enough where the Bills can land enough blows on defense to allow Josh & the offense to stay ahead for the title. Got 2 Billieve Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I agree with the AFC playoff teams (disregarding seed position). I'm putting Chicago in over Minnesota. NFC has a lot of playoff caliber teams. 2 Quote

There is some hype that Kyler gets MIN really going and I have read enough I can see it happening while the Bears lose that turnover luck and their defense isn't able to carry its weight. I believe fully though in CHI offense so it might not even matter and you are right. Quote

Kirby Jackson Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Division winners: Saints, Rams, Cowboys, Lions, Bills, Ravens, Jaguars, Chargers WC: Seattle, Philly, Packers, Bengals, Texans, Chiefs In the bold thread, I said Seattle would miss the playoff but that was going bold. I think that they probably make it. In this guess I only picked 2 of the 3 AFC West teams which was tough for me. I left Denver out which feels aggressive but there is only room for 7. Maybe the AFCN only has 1. 1 Quote

I’m an electric game between two superstar QBs the Bill prevail over the Ravens in a very high scoring game. While the QBs keep the sparks flying, the real deal is James Cook. He reminds everyone that why he has lead the league in rushing two consecutive seasons. Quote
