It just seems like he’s at his best in the most critical moments. Late in the games, he finds a way to do it, and he can do it with his arms. He can do it with his legs. He looks like not only does he want it, he needs it. He looks like he’s built for it,” said Tomlin. 4 15 Quote

Kirby Jackson Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Obviously we are all biased here on the topic. With putting that aside, I’m having a hard time seeing as strong of an argument from anyone else. Burrow and Jackson have consistently faced injury issues. Mahomes had a couple of inconsistent years and now injury issues. Maye collapsed in epic fashion in the playoffs. Herbert does that every time. Stafford is old. You’d have a hard time convincing me it should be anyone else. That holds especially true if contract isn’t a part of the conversation. 3 1 1 Quote
Admiral Sean Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I’d like to pump Andy Reid’s fat ass full of truth serum and ask him the same thing. 1 2 Quote

Orlando Buffalo Posted September 8 Posted September 8 (edited) I have a kid I tutor who loves football and when I asked who was the best he said Josh. When I said he didn't need to brown nose, he stated it has been him and Mahomes since 2021 and Mahomes is now injured and missed the playoffs, so who else could you consider? Bruffalo Posted September 8 Posted September 8 In a single year redraft of the NFL, Allen would go first overall probably 100/100 times, and I don't even think it's close. That's all you need to know. 1 2 1 Quote

Yeah this statement really is not accurate. In his 18 year career in Pitt he won at least 10 games 12 times, he won 12 or more games 5 times, never had a losing record, won the division 8 times, won a super bowl, and made it another super bowl. He never had a QB like Allen, but my guess is he would of won multiple super bowls with #17, him and Big Ben(the only QB he ever coached that could remotely come close to Allen' stature) were a pretty good team back in the day. He’s not the greatest regular season QB, but he’s Montana like in the playoffs with the game on the line. Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I was holding my breath when I saw the ellipsis, I had no idea which QB he was going to say on a Bills message board! Then -BAM! Joshua Patrick Allen with a surprise choice. Jokingly aside, of course. He should be all 32 HC's choice. He is a true dual threat and loved by teammates. He's better than Johnny Moxon in every way. GoBills808 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 probably reminds him of an upgraded Roethlisberger tbh that was my initial comp watching Allen's first preseason game back in 2017, hung in a really messy pocket and threw a TD to Kelvin Benjamin iirc...looked eerily similar to Big Ben 1 Quote

Jauronimo Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I was worried he was going to say a 47 year old Aaron Rodgers. I guess I'm just a worrier. Its why my friends call me whiskers. 1 Quote

Buffalo Ballin Posted September 8 Posted September 8 What a turn of events. Our Josh Allen became the number one NFL quarterback a year before he won league MVP. Now, his number one position is solidified. Just needs to win Super Bowl. Quote
