I think it's really awesome he was able to attend tonight...when he said he hasn't been able to watch his top ranked daughter in person during the press conference, that was heartbreaking and I'm glad he got to be there tonight

You put Kim in the stadium on the jumbotron right before the opening kickoff and watch what happens. It'll be awesome

If Jessica wins the US Open I could definitely see her making an appearance at the home opener with the trophy.

I'm also holding out hope that Marv just might make an appearance and deliver the greatest "Where Else Would You Rather Be"

Any of those 3 scenarios or a combo of the 3 would be fantastic

It’s a nice sign for the Pegula that Kim is well enough to make out for her daughter’s match.  I’m sure shes had world class care for the last two years.  Given her appearance, I’m guessing even if she doesn’t come out for the legends, she should be in the owner’s box.  It would be cool if any of the kids could make it as well.  As an aside, I didn’t know she ascended to #1 ranked female player in the world.  That doesn’t happen by accident.

Im happy for the family.  Every Bills fan and WNYer owes a debt to the Pegulas for keeping both professional sports in Buffalo for the foreseeable future.  With the Sabres winning the division, seasons skyrocketing, a new state of the art stadium,  and the lead odds better on favorite for the AFC representative in the SB.  Those are tremendously positive signs for all of WNY.

I may have lived in Tampa now longer than my up bring in in Hamburg, I’ll always be a Buffalonian at heart.  My sister has worked for the Sabres for over 25 years, and tells me the fandom has been at fever pitch moreso than most of the years her working there.  She actually doesn’t want to retire as she is having too much fun having the team she loves actually reaping the benefits.

I was at the Open last weekend and we watched Jess practice- we were right behind her in the ADA seats and my Dad had his Bills hat and Bills shirt on (his normal traveling attire) - a couple times during breaks he yelled Go Bills! and she either didn't hear him, or ignored him :) (she was wearing a Penn State shirt btw)

Jessica gets her first major title, and the Bills get their first Lombardi Trophy in the same year. Kim deserves that joy!

She might be. She was at the red and blue practice in the new stadium. Now she is at her daughters tennis match. Sounds like she is capable of getting out. I dont watch tennis so I have no idea how big those crowds get but I know our stadium will be packed. She might not be ready to be in a big crowd like that or something.

And the Sabres hoist Lord Stanley’s cup to complete the trifecta.
